Thank you for sharing this tutorial. I could not figure out how to make a spine for my soft fabric covered journal with two signatures already bound. You have saved me! Really appreciate it. 💜😎🇺🇸
Such an easy way to bind a journal thanks for sharing. Omg! That spider story gave me goosebumps. I’m terrified of them😱!Take care
Thanks so much! Jenny :) xxx
That's a fabulous idea Rach' I hadn't thought of a hidden spine with elastic. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks Mum xxx
Simple but effective 👍🏻 - Thanks for doing a video especially for us 🙏
Love this idea much easier than sewing
It really is! Thanks for watching Melanie xxx
Thanks for sharing this technique, I’ve never used it because I had no idea how to do it. The cover of this journal is so brilliant, I love it to bits!
Thanks Hilde!!! :) xxx
Easy peasy!! Thank you!🤩
Thank you Angela xxx
Thanks for sharing -I hate sewing signatures in so I have got to try this - I really like this concept
Very pretty!
Great tutorial. Enjoyed your instructions. TFS *Debbie*
Thanks Debbie xxx
Totally love this option.
Thank you for showing how to do that!!!! I'm new to junk journaling and i really like the no sew bindings...
What a wonderful idea. Will definitely use that method.❤️
Thank you Loretta xxx
Fantastic! I love bookbinding, but I don’t have time to stitch all my sketchbooks. Plus the flexibility for rearranging and adding is nice.
I have actually been making my journals like this for years. All of my journals are made this way I have an entire line.
I’m so glad to see it is finally making it way around… I love it!!!
That's great! :) Its an awesome way to bind isn't it :) xxx
Wow, I really like this. I'm going to try it.
Thank you Alyce-Kay xxx
Cool.. I have been doing this to most of my journals, for the past couple years.. only because I spend so much time on my covers and signature covers.. I wanted a way for others to reuse the cover and signatures. The way I make mine is different.. was neat to see how you do yours. Have a wonderful day!
That is awesome! Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment also. xxxx
Molto utile - grazie mille 🙏 🥰
Great video.
This is brill Rach, I use a hidden signature but only for sewing in, this opens up a whole new set of options for me, thanks for sharing xx
Thanks Mandy! :) xxx
Thank you
Thank you Lucy xxx
Thanks so much for sharing this - I've been wanting to do something like this for years on existing book covers where the signatures won't be as tall as the cover but was afraid to try. I guess you don't know what the longevity is? I'm thinking the heavier chipboard is better..? Thanks again - gorgeous cover! Going to have to watch your tutorial on it. :-)
Great tutorial. I'm very new to making journals so this is very helpful. How did you make your cover please? That's another part I'm struggling on.
Hi Maria, I did a video explaining how I made the cover, if you watch this, and go to 28 mins you will see how I did it. :) I hope this helps xx ua-cam.com/video/UUk6EAVHkTA/v-deo.html
cool way to hide the binding. But OMGHOSH I would have died with that big a spider in my hair, I had this happen once and thought that spider was big but compaerd to yours it was tiny HAHAHAHAHAHAH
lol I am just glad he's gone now and didn't run up my leg! :) Thanks for watching xxx
I've tried all sorts of machines and gadgets for applying eylets (from Cropodile big bite down to the normal everyday gadgets) but to no success. Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry to hear your having trouble with your eyelets Christine! Is it difficult for you to grip down on them maybe? xxx
Hi Christine:
You probably figured out what to do by now, but Lolly Palooza has a few great tutorials on Crop-a-Diles and setting eyelets.
Hello There !
Thanks for watching :) xx
Exactly what I was looking for today. A hidden midori style spine. Thanks so much. Love this idea. (●'◡'●)
