Yes you can grow them here in zone 7. Right on the border so some year I don't get any fruit some years I do. Still working out the best way to get them to grow good here.
I did a few years ago. I have trouble getting a long enough season here in zone 7 and you have to have the male and female plants flowing at the same time and hand pollinate them since this is no pollinator here in zone 7.
