Thank you so much for this video, Pablo! I very much appreciate your nice tone and thorough explanation of the things we need to know about the Mulberry tree. I grew up in Europe and we had two huge Mulberry trees. There is a large volunteer on the other side of the fence around my property, so I want to take cuttings from it in order to grow the plant in containers. Hi Pablo 👋 Wow, You grow a fruit tree and it's beautiful like the flowers, thank you for all the details on growing the Mulberry tree. I will try this one 👍👏💜
I got a beautiful mulberry tree as a gift from a friend. It's now sitting in a 12' pot and looks absolutely happy. It is already about 3 feet tall and has a trunk about 1 1/2", rather tall and without branches, just a stem. I live in Florida and we are having very hot temperatures right now, about 90-100 F. I would like to transplant it to the soil in my backyard. Should I wait till winter? If yes, should I replant it into a bigger pot, or leave it its old one till then? When can I prune it to develop more branches? I put it on my patio, should I move it out into the sun? It is so hot outside!
Hi! Thanks for good video. I'm planning to start planting mulberry in a pot and place it in my glassed balkony. There 2 kinds of them the "normal" and the dwarf mulberry. Are there anything I shall take in consideration before choosing the tree? The "normal" one becomes a lot larger, but I can solve it with pruning or I'm wrong? I didn't really understand the size of the pot. How big in liters shall I buy the pots? What is ideal pot to end with after reput from smaller ones?
I am planning to plant a mulberry plant on my terrace only to attract birds. (Local birds in Kolkata). I have large sized pots , more than 20". I do not like to go for a hybrid plant. So can i plant a normal mulberry plant in such a big pot?
what type of soil ur using for ur mulberry. i very desperate for ans because my mulberry plant leaves some turn yeloow and their fruits dropped easily. should i repot?
I got a plant from an online nursery just yesterday, it has white and a few pink coloured fruits but they're so tiny, is there any way I could increase the size of the fruits before they get ripe, while at the same time not causing any harm to the plant in this time of stress, I also noticed the leaves have small brown spots on them (I heard plants experience stress in the first few days of bringing them from the nursery) Love from my tiny balcony 😁
@@PabloBhattacharjee okay, can I give vermicompost and chalk peices+egg shells for calcium? I've seen some videos where people have kept bottom layer of pot covered with eggshell and chalk peices for slow release calcium.

I planted mine from a cuttling and I have a big tree now after 5 years but NO fruit. For the last two years, the tree grew some kind of dangling things which I thought would turn into the fruit but they didn't. Do you know why this might be?

@@PabloBhattacharjee someone forgot to water it for a day and the leaves got crispy so I had to pull them out and put them as mulch in the pot. So now I got bare branches. Hi, good afternoon po. My mulberry plants already one year but no fruits. It only get an afternoon sun. Is there a chance that it will bear fruit. I put organic fertilizer like cow manure, rabbit manure, bone meal, toasted egg shell and neem cake.
If you can give them some more sunlight,, and you can prune your plant a little that might help,, also make sure your don't over fertilize them. Let the soil get dry before Watering

I bought a 12 in pot for the final pot for our dwarf mulberry tree. I want to keep it contained so that way it doesn't get too big. Do you feel like it can live well in that size of pot? I will also be significantly pruning it at the end of every year.

thank you for the video. but, why do you suggest re-potting the plant over and over again? why not put it in the largest pot you plan to, right away, so that the tree doesn't suffer re-potting stress multiple times?
No repotting multiple times is good, because it boosts the plant gradually, it will give better results for a long time, repotting after 1/2 years is ideal
Mulberry plants attract the most beautiful birds and that's why I want to grow them,
Just DO NOT park your car too close to the tree. 😂😂😂😂. Bird splatters
