My GMT900 did the same thing at a Publix in Huntsville. Luckily had some zip ties to hold it together till I got home. Bought the same bushing you did. **The trick is to soak it for 10 seconds in boiling water before installing.**
My Silverado will say rear park assist off when I have a trailer hooked up. I see you had a trailer hooked up so that probably was what was going on with that.
2011 z71 had that happen at a boat ramp and couldn’t get back into park. Replacement bushings never seem to fit right either. I put some stainless wire around the outside to keep it on 10k miles ago
My 09 did the same thing. I put zip ties holding linkage. It held for a few weeks and fell off again. I put it back on with nothing holding and it hasn’t messed up since.
Happened to me on my Silverado that bushing failed me 3 times so I just drilled it out and put a bolt and some lock tight worked for 3 years then I sold the truck
Mine did the same thing on 2009 silverado what I did was that the nut off the top then take the shift linkage plate put the pin out and use a small bolt and 2 washers to hold it on
Bro I watched this video 8 days ago. Just got home and my Yukon did this. Parked on a hill too. Mine’s not lifted so I can’t get under there to reach it. Fuck me
Linkage is first thing i woulda checked lol
2007 Tahoe. The park assist sensor deactivates when you are towing.
