Omgosh she was such a trooper during the storm. Happy attitude, stayed bundled for me. Tonight we put up her Xmas tree and put her big stuffed animals underneath it. Walter, her big rhino is under there it looks great. I'll do a clip this week!❤❤❤
I will be working on canning the 20 lbs of potatoes I got. Have to take advantage of whatever sales I come across. I think I will season these with garlic and rosemary. I, for one, would be more than happy to watch what is going on in the back yard!
So happy you've survived that massive storm. You were definitely in my thoughts. Nothing worse then power outages. Never received canned beef but have received canned pork. I always wash it, too greasy and too salty. But always use it, usually for BBQ pork. I've been boiling, peeling and freezing 20 lbs potatoes, bushel of corn and case 6 fresh pineapples. It was a great haul. 😊❤
HI Virginia, I love when you share your canning. How are the frozen potatoes? I have never frozen them. Wow 6 pineapples that is amazing! What a Haul you had❤❤❤
@foodbankbeautiful lm not able to peel potatoes...too much arthritis. I wash, boil till almost tender, cool and skin comes right off. Cut into chunks and freeze. Perfect for breakfast with onions and peppers. Soup, mashed....they cook up fast, retain color and taste good. Came in real hands when we were with out power.
DeAnna just curious why you let the pressure off of your canner when it beeped? I’ve never made cranberry juice so I don’t know what the proper way of doing it is. I do believe they are a high acid food that can be water bathed. Am I wrong?
I know it looked like that, I just jiggled it to confirm it was on natural release❤ The Cranberry juice was excellent. Really one of my favorite things I canned this year.❤❤❤
Love watching grandma! She's such a hoot. Yes she is certainly lovely!

Those cookie bars look SO good. We love leftovers here at our house too. It’s supposed to be 29 degree here in Alabama tonight.
Omg in the 20's here tonight too❤❤❤
@@foodbankbeautifulI don’t miss the summer heat, but I do miss the Fall. At least we have Spring to look forward to.
