- Every year since 2000, Nigeria has consistently lost a significant share of its forest cover in the last 20 years. There has been an 11% decrease in the forest land and that number accounts for 1.14 million hectares of the cover

When the trees 🌳 go the animals go when the animals go humanity go.
we are witnessing the destcrution of humnity in front of us. This needs to stop and if it is not stopped we will suffer humongously.
That’s why they’re one of the oil rich nations around the world but half the population beg on the streets or die in deserts & oceans trying to flee the country in search of food.
The oil turned into a curse
India like many countries were full of forest cover too but lets not discuss that only poor African nations.
We just increased our forest cover by 20,000 km square but let's not talk about that
India ran out of firewood for the funeral pyres during COVID. Not much conservation there really . The Pakistanis have done better by planting trees everywhere although south India is quite lush .

@@defence3355 the western part of China is uninhabitable and mainly desert but they are creating more forestry . The same goes for India. Why get butthurt when images of your country's people desperate for firewood was shown all over the world only a year ago. Why lie and get offended. I mean come on people in your country don't look after parks and woods etc. Indians aren't interested in that. Even Indians living here don't care about their surroundings. They have to have a good house and a car but the garden is never kept properly!!!?

@@shadowknightgladstay4856,why coal energy ? there is solar energy is available in large quantity. Here in India we Indians prefers to using solar energy as much as possible. And that's why I suggesting you African people to use solar energy as much as possible because your countries has 10 time more sunlight than India so you can produce more energy to replace coal.

Because in the same Ondo State (Nigeria 🇳🇬) covered in this video was where there was a massacre carried out on Sunday on worshipping members of a church but you did not cover the News. There's no way you can justify it that your reporter didn't report that to your office.
