Duuuuude I FREAKING ❤️ YOU! Saved me from my wife " I told you it wouldn't work!" Speech
😂 I’m glad i posted this as well because i had to refer back to my video when I installed a TV mount last night 😂 glad i could help save marriages!
Good information to know before buying all the equipment I will need , for example I didn’t know I will need a stud finder and check for Vesa, thanks !
Thank You. I’m going to install mine tomorrow ❤Great video
I also had an odd VESA configuration (TCL 50 inch Roku TV--allegedly 300 x 200) which was off. I also found that flipping only one of the VERTICAL brackets instead enabled me to connect the bracket (so no horizontal brackets). Just be careful (with vertical ones) to level them first carefully before mounting.
Awesome video I was ready to return the mount
Good thinking, well done Sir! Thanks for sharing
Appreciate it man! Same thing happen to me. Thanks for the video.
u just saved somebody from being cussed tf out!!!!! thx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😂 glad i could help!
Thank you u saved my marriage
good tip MJ. Thank you.
Thanks!!! This helped me a lot.
Great job thanks for the video 👍
Yoooooo thank you man lol the level tip at the end is what I needed lol
Haha glad i could help!
thanks alot dude you save me too lol...i havent mounted yet on the wall but i am today since its raining...i was just about to take it back to harbor freight
Haha glad i could help!
Similar issue here, but mine is 200x300 (not 300x200). Same solution, but the short crossbars must be spaced vertically instead and that did the trick. The second set of longer bars went unused. Note that the 200x300 solution offsets the center of the mount a little over 1 inch which is not a concern from weight distribution given these these as so light now, but it may be a consideration if you want to precisely center the TV between 2 near sides (such as over a Fireplace mantle)....as such the location of the mount bracket attachment to the wall would need to compensate for the offset. For me, it was not and issue given my TV location.
great video thank you
Thanks brother
400x300.. I'm going in!!! Wish me luck🤕😐🙏🏽💕
Very smart
I know this is two years after this was made, but in the instructions I have for this mount they have the picture showing it exactly how it is when you flipped it. They must've changed it in the last year or so
Ha that’s awesome! 😂 They must’ve seen this video lol
I’m having a 200x300 issue. Any recommendations? It’s rectangular shape , upside (mount holes)
Buddy, I kid you not.... I got the exact same tv when you did, ($233 or something, right?) And I'm just browsing mounting videos, and I just last night picked up the exact same mount at HF. Hahaha. Nice video.
Yup i paid like $240-250ish range i think after taxes. Mannn i mounted up the wall brace then i go to find out it wasn’t compatible, i tell you my eyes were watering up hahahaha. Then when i found a way to make it work, i was like, i have to get this message out there lol!
@@MJAltairy Especially considering I'm in this EXACT same situation, I appreciated it. Lol. I'll tell ya, when you were like, "the problem is, it isn't designed for this tv " I was like, "Fuuuuuuu****!!!!" Lol
@@michaeljennisonjr.7410 lmaoo
@@michaeljennisonjr.7410 same here lol tv and mount
My drill bit is only 3". Can I use that, or does the bit have to be 3.5"?
Well the only I see in the picture of the box is the same way that you explain to resolve the issue but thanks to explain I this the mistake is the manual to no include the 300x200 😅
the booklet says to have the 2 rails facing the same way.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
The bolts holing the tv to the mount seem like they can break over time. U had if for 2 years? It's holding up? U recommend it I'm looking to buy it.
Been 2 years since I’ve posted this video and the TV’s still up on the wall!
I came across the same problem just yesterday. Same TV same Mount haha
I did the exact same instructions to make it work. How has the Tv been holding up? Any issues?
Still up there no issues haha!
Hey I bought the smaller size for my 32 in tv, used the screws that came w it, found the studs w the same finder you have, went to put my TV on the mount and it started to come out the wall...do you know how to fix it?
That studfinder isn’t the most accurate. Check a few mm on both sides of the holes you already drilled to see if the stud is nearby. Or run the stud finder again and double check
@@MJAltairy thanks, I'll try that.
What about the power cord? Did you hide it inside the wall?
I didnt for this install.
Any solution for 200 x 300 it’s such an awkward size
Are you not able to mount it the way I have it in this video?
Take the 2 short bars and place them vertically, not horizontally.
I have a 400x300 VESA configuration and have no idea at all what to do lol. I’m about to call for professional installation and return this stupid mount 😂😂
I have the same issue, what did you do?
@@juelz9225 I wish I could help but I returned it and bought a new TV instead with a professional install lol I gave up quickly
Are those vertical and horizontal bars necessary? That’s what I’m not getting. The “plate” bolted on to my TV perfectly
What size TV do you have? Also, there should be a “Vesa” number somewhere on the back of the TV. It reads “###x###”
It all depends on the size of your TV and the VESA measurement. If it’s a direct fit, I’d assume you’re good to go.
@@MJAltairy VESA 200x200
@@robertsmithjr.5839 yea you only use the mounting plate for the VESA 200x200 according to the instructions.
The manual SHOWS the way you “fixed” it, is the way it supposed to be guy
All these flavors and you opted for salty.
Has half the thing done smh
