I'm looking at a Tv bracket but with the 2 arm version instead of the single arm, Wall mounting due to living room small and trying to create more space. Great video in depth detail only just found your channel. 👍 I'm guessing as you went straight into the stud beam instead of brick you didn't need to use the anchor plugs provided.
Hi Justin, I will be installing the MD TV kit but have to locate the fixing bracket to the extreme right of a bookcase shelf space because the electric 'plug' point is in an awkward spot i.e pretty much the centre of where the TV would be? I have assumed this will be no problem if I fix it on the right hand side of the space and then slide the TV on it's fixing rail to the extreme left as you look at it, thereby hiding the plug point; as long as I make sure the TV is level then this should be ok, even if it isn't exactly centred into the available space, do you agree?
Hey buddy. When the tv is pushed all the way back against the wall is it center with the mount? And can you slide the tv over on the rails if needed? I have shelves a few feet over from where I want to mount my tv.
I also would like to know the same, i have a socket roughly central to where my Tv would go and so the mount would have to be offset to the side to accomodate for it, can the horizontal position be adjusted?
@@omeireles1706 I have it installed now. It’s pretty center. it can be slid on the rails if needed. Or adjusted to basically anywhere you want the tv to sit. Don’t overthink it. You should be fine.
I found the stud successfully, then when I tried to put the big screws in to put the bracket on the wall they wouldn’t go all the way. No matter how much pressure I use it won’t work
Great video Justin! Just wondering, would it be suitable to attach the wall mount near a corner of a room (i.e. is the mount flexible enough so the TV would fit in the corner and hide the mount)?
1 very important step this and most other video's leave out: to some it may not matter, but if you want the distance from the top of your tv stand to the bottom of the tv to be the amount you want...you must install hanging brackets on back of tv 1st and measure..before mounting wall bracket...if not your tv may not be at the height you desire... maybe you will get lucky with built in adjustments, maybe you won't, its something to consider, and yet no one mentions this.
I have a filling that stud split in half. You did not drill a hole for that screw. That's why you had to put so much power to screw it in..🤔.. Didn't mean to criticize, its just what I think..😔.
Well, another option would be to fix a board to the wall first, for example an 18mm piece of plywood, fix this to the studs, and the you can centre the bracket to the wall without worrying about the stud location...
@@omeireles1706 umm hell no I been doing these installs for years unless your are sitting on a super low uncomfortable sofa thats low as hell man that looks 24 to 32 inches from the floor from the video angle maybe its higher and hard to tell but seems pretty darn low LMFAO. I got a few jobs to remount tv's because some crazy person did this. sure as heck is not eye level for a 5'10 to 6'2" person setting on a sofa maybe laying down sideways I guess
@@angelramosexperience8698 that's not even low.. is the same level as it was in a tv stand, are you the kind of people that love putting TV's almost on the ceiling so people are breaking their neck staring up?
Why would you want to put a TV on a wall bracket so close to the floor, surely it can just sit on a cabinet or stand, wall mounts are designed to hang the tv at a higher position up the wall to give more room on the floor below it or for a better viewing experience
Caroline picked a great height. Not everyone wants a giant cabinet for a TV and that height is actually pretty much on point when you're sitting on a couch. Most people put TVs WAY too high - your eyeliner is supposed to be at a point 1/3 of the vertical distance of the display from the top.
Great video with no fluff or time wasting! Gave me the confidence I needed.
Your presentation is top rate, you do not leave out any steps and gives the handyman the confidence to give it a try. Thanks from Canada
I happened to have bought this exact same mount and this video was very helpful thanks!
Great video, as a female wanting to try this myself(with help), it was excellent walk thru. Thank you
I hope all good things happen to you. This video helped me finish my projects
Thank you my friend 🙏
Top man, great help for a novice diy guy like myself 👍

thanks man, you are the best when it comes to this
Excellent, thank you from New Zealand, love the idea of drilling the small holes to find the stud, I have bought a stud finder.
Thank you. That is a really helpful and thorough video.

Job done JB, sweet as a nut, - thanks for posting such a great and easy to explain Video.
Thank you, Justin!
No problem, hope you liked it..
I was wondering about the spacers , thanks man , my tv is flat
Excellent video.
What if the studs are the metal ones??
Very well done thanks
Exellent sir
Amazing 🎉
how do you attach sound bar to tv, so it swivels with the bracket?
You don't!
Thanks for sharing
thanks
Very good.
Excellent

I’ve measure the back of my tv and I’m getting 19cm at the top and then 9cm at the side ?? So what will I need

Does not stay level when you extend it but sags slightly. My TV was 43lbs, well under the rated 60lbs
Easy knock were it’s hard and your good
Thank You!!!!

I don't understand why to use spacers
This their house. They can mount it wherever. He’s here to help us mount ours. Wherever we choose. People so weird.

I'm scared because my 40 inch is heavy and I don't want it to tear up the wall
Why drill to find the stud when you have a tool for that. A bit baffled about that part
Hi Justin.. thanks for the upload, very useful info. I’m looking to purchase a laser level.. what would you recommend?
Hi Garran. Well, this 360 degree laser level by Kaiweets is pretty awesome I have to admit - amzn.to/2KtPW3G

that would stop them bailiffs stealing the TV
Just wondering about centering tv if the stud is not in the center I want?!🤔 not a handyman. As you can see

Man that is super low I guess If I watch tv on the floor that would be fine
Na i think thats probably eye level when sitting down on sofa? That would be comfortable when TVs are high it hurts your neck!
