Then he said, oh fck it, a short and merry life we will have. Then went on to have a suicidal charge across the sea, and is BY FAR the most successful pirate in the Atlantic. He captured over 400 vessels, to put that into comparison, black beard captured 30. And he died straddling a cannon while the rest of his crew were drunk and afraid. Man was a fckn MAD LAD!

Great video! The only thing i would say is that even though i am a proud Brit this is probably better described as a list of British pirates rather than all pirates as there are some very impressive international pirates across history.
what i love about this channel, is that any other, far inferior channel that would do a list like this would spend minutes droning out the intro with some meaningless monologue about pirates and their standing in pupular culture and hitting a "but did you know that some pirates are even stranger then what you might see in movies?" and go on a thing about the golden age of piracy "for context" and blah blah blah but this guy just gets right into it stright away. i love it.

All the pirates you covered in this video, were remarkable for their own separate reasons. Regardless of how other people feel about them, I'll always find them cool!
