    No. My miter saw cannot play country music. But I love the setup!

    Excellent space saving design. I’ve learned over the years the more mobile setups you have in the shop the better. 👍

    I've just started reviewing my miter saw station. It looks similar to yours but I will now modify it to be exactly like yours.

    Instead of that wooden block to hold your lumber, more useful would be a “stand” block for long lumbers to be perfectly level to have perfect vertical cuts or perfect angle cuts.

    I would think that it's a little bit complicated to get the extensions perfectly parallel to your saw top and all directions and in height otherwise your Cuts may be somewhat off angle.

    Is there any flex in the sides with folding brackets? If so does it affect the accuracy of the cut?

    Don't throw off-fall in the trash. Save it for other creative uses.

      I agree within reason but that gets out of control real fast

    • @bradfordrusso7480
      @bradfordrusso7480 Рік тому

      @@nasanerd4321 Yes, of course. It depends on size of the scrap piece. And also volume (quantity).
      I did NOT run a shop for commercial purposes. So I did Not produce a steady daily stream of waste. Only making a wide variety of handy and useful projects for around MY OWN house. Including many hundreds of running feet of shelves, work-station counters for my computer business, and handy dandy things for the kitchen and bathroom, hobby rooms, etc. Plus a real fire-place that burned wood.
      I kept a large, tall carton box near the table saw. Plenty of wood went both in and out of it. Only tiny slivers were discarded as trash.
      Creativity consisted of looking in that box, First. To see if available scraps could be used, cleverly. Instead of consuming expensive new lumber. One man voiced amazement upon seeing the intelligently creative use of my "scraps".

    DON’T put castors on your base! If your shop isn’t perfectly level, the lock won’t work and your table will move around

    • @gustaveliasson5395
      @gustaveliasson5395 Рік тому +2

      So use a design with 3 wheels to ensure that they're always in contact with the floor regardless of if it is uneven.

    • @ekd1985
      @ekd1985 Рік тому

      If you lock multiple wheels it will be fine. The red ones at Home Depot are better to because the lock keeps them from rotating.
