    Sir , you mention the "living" elders not to be included in the "Tarpanam" , ..... Narshimha Rao , the astrologer author of Jhora software says you should do it for your Parents even if they are living because you are Honouring your "Parents" of many lifetimes!!!
    That's a confusion Sir !
    How to address that !

      If you listen carefully to both Robert ji and PVR ji,
      For pitris, utter word svadha. Thanks
      PVR ji don’t utter svadha for deva, saptarshi, other rishis, he utters Trupyantam only. I am not qualified to answer on this and it is my opinion.

      Yes true Svadha for pitru tarpanam..
      That's not for Deva or Rishi .
      I use the downloaded version fron PVR Sir's website.

    The black sesame seeds have to be disposed into the water body properly. The seeds are really small and not a single one of those that were offered to your ancestors should be left behind. Please take care to dispose of “all” of them into the water body later. Please take care that nobody else comes into contact with it after the offering ritual is complete
