These were some gems of true wisdom.
If you aren't attracted or comfortable with someone, there's no runanubandha to begin with. Whereas there's a strong runanubandha with the person you are attached to.

What about a loved one that has a bond with a pattern. A mother has numerous car accidents and then the daughter has this ongoing pattern of car accidents that have no obvious fault of her own doing? How does a person clear this Karmic Bondage? The mother died at 90 in an accident.

HOW MONETARY DEBT BECAME THE CAUSE OF THE BIRTH IN THE ANIMAL REALM --
      ----
When a bright-looking teenager, Shyamappa sought the Swamiji's Updesh, the great saint asked him to bring a vessel full of water. When it was brought, he held the vessel in his hand for a while, blessed it with a mantra, gave Updesha to the young man and returned the vessel to him. He advised him to sit under a particular tree and asked him to do penance. The boy who was a sincere seeker did as he was bidden. He succeeded in getting a darshan of Mahalakshmi who endowed him with a few powers which included divining things and composing mystic poems. Shyamappa used these powers to educate the ignorant and bring light to their hearts. For instance, he told one person of Ramasandra who was arrogant, and purse-proud that his father had died he was neck-deep in debt and consequently had been born as a pig in that very house. The rich and haughty person man flew into a fit of wild temper and shouted how he dare say such a thing. But the young man remained perfectly unruffled and asked that person to call out his father's name loudly .'Father " "Father" yelled the person, and in came a snorting pig with its snout uplifted. The eyes of that person filled with penitent tears and begged Shyamappa to let him know what he should do. He was advised to clear all the debts which his late father had incurred, to help the poor and the needy and to spend the rest of his life serving God and Godmen.

A few Brazilian doctors and mediums in the country's Spirit Hospitals say that a spirit enters a person's aura or body and causes disturbances, though Spirits often have no such intention of harassing the person, but produce disturbance nevertheless. This is known as a passive obsession.A few Brazilian doctors/mediums in the country's Spirit Hospitals say that a spirit enters a person's aura or body and causes, though Spirits often have no such intention of harassing the person, but produce disturbance nevertheless. This is known as a passive obsession. had died thirteen years ago. The lady and her brother-in-law had always disliked each other and the man understood the reason for this after he passed on to the other side. In a previous life, the two had been children of a wealthy Russian nobleman. The woman, eyeing their inheritance, had got him imprisoned. In the present life(after passing on) he was determined to take revenge on her and harassed her enough to imprison her in mental institutions. After he was told that his behaviour was hindering his further soul development, he forgave the woman and stopped troubling her. She lived the remaining twelve years of her life in peace.-------------------- - From the Book - Paranormal Experiences
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Creation is governed by the Law of karma so, in spite of the creator's love for its creatures, a Jiva has to go through the experiences according to its Karmik destiny after it has departed from the physical world.

Complex Karmic Situation Between Father And Son
      -------------------
One of Ananadamurt's relatively wealthy disciples once came to see him to seek counsel on how to rectify his rebellious and mischievous son. While the elderly man led a pious life practising yoga and studying scriptures, his son was exactly the opposite. He spent most of his time ridiculing his father, partying and wasting his hard-earned money, buying fancy clothes and cars. after Anandamurti listened to the man's story, he simply said; ' Do you know why your son is doing this to you? '' No, but I really want to know, the man answered. ' In your previous, life your son was your best friend, Anandamurti continued. ' When he was on his death bed, he called you to his house to angrily remind you that you had not paid back the huge debt to him. Now in this life, he has come back as your son, he is unconsciously but happily spending the money you owe to him .' This simple story humorously illustrates the nature and complexity of our sanskaras and why it is often difficult to know exactly why bad things happen to good people. But it's all a result of our sanskaras. The old man in the story was undergoing the consequences of his past actions in this life and so was his son. As Anandamurti told this man ' Your friend died an unhappy man .longing to take revenge, and now he has come back to fulfil his desire in the form of your son .' So, it is difficult to determine and anticipate the degree of reaction, an action will cause.

---------------------------------------------------------------------- [A mother who served the son of her previous birth as the karmic payment for the negligence/lack of affection.]
      ------------
Swamiji was deeply concerned with the development of his disciples. Not only in Kriya, but he also took care to see that his disciples completed their karmic duties as well. One such event concerning his illustrious disciple, Sannyasini Mata, indicates not only his ability to see through the sands of time but also his concern for all aspects of his disciple's life. He asked Sannyasini Mata to come to Benaras (Varanasi) where he lived. There he asked her to serve an old person from Assam by cooking for him. Initially, Sannyasini Mata resisted this suggestion
Sannyasini Mata on the plea that others would speak ill if she stayed alone at the house of another, albeit old man, Swamiji explained the reason for his directive. He said that this old man was Sannyasini Mata's son from her previous life. She had neglected him at that time and therefore should now serve him to complete her duty. Sannyasini Mata served the old man for five years treating him like her child. When he died, Swamiji again called Sannyasini Mata and asked her to take up sannyasa, thus cutting her remnant chords of Maya. In this way, the great saint took care of his disciples helping them develop into great spiritual personalities.
