You know I used to think like, dang why do gurus have to show off their free products? But honestly, watching this video, I realize that the stuff is not really free. You guys work so hard at your jobs, filming, editing, putting your lives on display for ppl to criticize and so much more! You work to build a following and because of your influence, brands send you stuff! Makes complete sense. Yeah, I would love to get the PR boxes but honestly I don't wanna do all the hard work you do. So kudos to your drive, determination and business savvy! You are doing it girl! All❤from the States! 😘

@Honeyespresso. It is hard work doing UA-cam and so it is better to do it because you love it rather than for the free stuff. I haven't got any free stuff apart from a 3D fibre mascara yet and I have been doing it for more than 6 months. it takes time to build a following too. I love doing it though and I am glad you recognise how much goes into it. Many people think its a piece of cake :)

I'm a student, have just started a fitness channel and I love it! There will be loads of people who relate to you so go for it if it's what you want to do. Although it's looads of work and as of yet I have no PR stuff so probably easier to just get a normal job if you just want the stuff side of things haha

You exude great confidence and charisma and you inspire many young girls like me all over the globe to shoot for the stars and keep working hard to achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. I'd also like to congratulate you on the many milestones you and Mike have reached and wish you all more great achievements in the future. Grace is one beautiful and lucky girl to have both of you as role models. Ok, I'll try to stop rambling now and get on with why I'm emailing you.
I use makeup on a day-to-day basis and in my 4+ years of living in Russia, I have always been faced with the problem of not finding my shade/colour in the colour spectrum displayed in the major cosmetics shops we have here. I'm a huge fan of the L'Oréal brand and products greatly because of its quality and affordability, but unfortunately, women of colour like me are not catered to here in Russia. I have always wanted to breach this gap in the Russian market (although it has taken me over 4 years to muster up the courage to take the first step) for WOC. I'd like to help bring more awareness about this in the industry here. I know you are one of the ambassadors of L'ORÉAL and I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me reach the team to shed more light on this. I already have tried on my own to get their attention through correspondence, emails, DMs on Instagram etc, all to no avail. So, I'm kindly asking you to help me get across to the L'Oréal team with your influence as an ambassador.
Getting ready for work (classes) daily is the part of my day I always look forward to. I love the freedom makeup gives me to be creative and expressive while helping me look my best. As a foreign student with no work visa or permit, I can only afford the drugstore brands like L'Oréal but, the market here in Russia lacks diversity in their range and spectrum of colors which leaves women of color feeling left out and seeking alternative means like having to order from popular international online stores with steep taxes and shipping costs.
I've always viewed myself as a champion for girls of my generation and younger generations and I want to help bring awareness and enlightenment to this. I will be happy to work with the L'Orèal team to help push for inclusiveness of ALL women and diversity in the Russian market. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I agree she's awesome beautiful smart sweet but no reason to put other ppl down by raising certain ppl up ... you are suggesting other races aren't so humble or have as much for morals I actually think opposite around where I live. ....not much humility in black ppl its racist to say something like that and assume its not environment as well as parenting mixed with so much else. religion morals parenting friends environment abuse all things lead to you being who you are 0 to do with race.

what two sides? she made a review on an item she sent it wasn't very positive and she never received anything again. Not that hard to understand why
Tarte is free to give their side of the story whenever they want, but they certainly haven't so far. A major company like that should be able to handle constructive criticism that would help them better their products. Jackie Aina is not one to criticize a makeup product without giving a reason why. I trust what she has to say.

I think it's great that people are sharing what was given for free. That's more realistic than using and promoting the product passing it off like you paid for it.
Seems like a lot of the girls watching are under the impression that these huge collections were paid for with cash. As a result, they go out paying all this money to get the same thing.

Hi Patricia, regard your hair flair ups. I struggle with something similar ; more so fungus on the skin. One thing I take to combat the flair-ups is Probiotics. I take 100 Billion cultures from 10 strains. I'm positive if you start taking them, cutting sugars and cut out milk especially milk it will all be gone in in less than a month.

I would be so offended if a company sent me stuff that is for white skin when I'm black lmao, you should call them out. That's unacceptable!
It really is, especially when she does videos and you can CLEARLY see what color she is. Not the same as when I buy stuff online and they don't know what I look like (dark skin) and send me samples of makeup clearly for white skin. Some companies just assume all their customers are white or fair skin. But when they're on UA-cam... HELLO?
Erin, Maays wasn't talking about the end of the video. She was talking about what Patricia said 2:13 to 2:28 about companies sending her samples that are meant for white girls. That's why Maays asked her to "call them out", because she didn't mention the companies by name.
It just shows that they send the same packs to everyone, so it is not personalised and PR companies don't really care. But I think if it was me, I would be annoyed with it and would probably stop working with companies like that. Though I'm fair skinned myself, I think it is disgusting how darker girls are treated as if they don't exist.
