So I think fenty was more about a black owned business finally including all skin colors. Let’s b real she’s made a lot of the main stream makeup companies start including darker skin tones in their lines ! I’ll always give rihanna her props for that. ✊🏾

ohhireneexo fenty is actually not a black owned business. Fenty is owned by kendo beauty. There has been some controversy on weather it was or not. I was excited about kat Von d being a latina owned makeup brand but same situation, her company is owned by kendo beauty as well.

I agree. But it isn’t only about having darker skin tones, she also went lighter. Like her foundation for albinos, that was very considerate because I have never seen a makeup company do that. But one thing I don’t think Patricia understands is that there are some shades in the lippie collection that look great on dark skin tones, some on medium, and some on light. Like I don’t think I could rock mocha, but I could rock that coral shade, which she said didn’t look good on her. Lippies are the type of products that you have to consider skin tone and preference and I feel like Patricia just didn’t get that.

Not all the products from the Fenty Line are good for example the blotting powder but i do think the foundation is worth the hype for us oily girls, the lip gloss in the neutral color is worth the hype, and the match/skin stix are worth the hype for oily girls! You have to know your skin type to know if a product will work for you...if your dry why would you try a matte foundation?? If your oily why would you try a dewy foundation? Find what works for you despite the hype!💋

I saw some pretty close dupes on eBay and Amazon that are much cheaper. Not sure how well they perform but some have solid reviews

I have one of the cheap ones from eBay. I wouldn't use it to wash my brushes because it would take ages to do them all individually, but it's amazing at drying brushes.

Her brushes are all good ones and they are all fine so far. I feel like it might have damaged a couple of people's brushes either because they weren't very good or they used it wrong and then word spread that it ruins brushes...but it really is good.

DCL... my dermatologist has got me using it, but there is a cheaper dupe. Neutrogena ultra gentle hydrating cleanser ( creamy formula) . There both great, but u can get the Neutrogena at drug stores

Really and truly I agree with the no brand is above criticism line. But I disagree with her idea that just cause she doesn’t use a certain fenty product or lip color that that makes it useless. Like yeah two that you’d use on a daily but there are more that you can use for fun outings and stuff that while they aren’t daily you still can really use them. Jaye Nicki yeah definitely her opinion and she’s entirely entitled to it, but yeah I think often people forget makeup is also an art form so brands provide colors and products towards the furthering of it which I think Rihanna kinda did with the lipstick. You got some shades that are weird but you mix em and use em to express yourself.

Jae George I highly agree. And a lot of them are saying Fenty is not worth the hype but that is not true. You see how many people were about to express themselves with this brand? You even have quite a few people who never wore makeup decide to give it a try because of it. Including myself. When she first launched a lot of these ytubers were the first ones to hurry up, put up a video and act like it was life changing, so to switch up it’s a little crazy to me. Of course they won’t like everything but to other people it did help quite a few.

I think the various colors companies create for lips are cool. Obviously you won't be able to go about your day in every shade (unless you really wanted to), but I mean that's not what every shade is for. And there's different types of people. To say they shouldn't make these colors or they're not good because you wouldn't wear them isn't really a good review on the actual product.
