It needs a better expansion pipe possibly a DEP SPORT REAR AMD FRONT PIPE .AWSOME BIKE though ,how I would love to have one !

Is this hos you fix it or adjust it?.. because i need to adjust mine.

The adjustment is done by pinning the cut out on the plastic wheel and feeling in the exhaust port (it should be flush)
You then tighten the cables finger right and back them off a quarter turn. Then lock them up 😁

Just opened it fully and get rid of the electronic power value , I had 4 DT125R none had the electronic valve, just keep it wide open, that DT R don’t look as good as the 89 an up models I don’t know why they changed them to look like that

the valve gives it wayyyyy more low end power.. I rode my 86’ without a battery for the first 2 weeks and then put one in which made the YPVS valve work and holy shit, it was a completely different bike
