If only there was a nice quality audio recording of that show. That version of Walkin' on the Sidewalks is masterful.
QOTSAarchiveFULL has the pro shot version with just Feel Good Hit of the Summer, Quick and to the Pointless, and Sidewalks.
Yeah, this one has been around for a while, as you surely already know. There's a few glitches in the recording too. Otherwise it's pretty good quality.
Lanegan on Sidewalks was always my favorite back in the day!
holy shit.... this is amazing. ive always wanted to see this show in its entirety. Dave Grohl's last show with them :/
Does anyone else think Grohl and Homme show off trying to impress each other, and in so doing make these QOTSA shows they did together incredible?
RickStar, pretty sure that's the entire reason Josh called up Dave in the first place when he was having trouble with Songs for the Deaf. Pretty great decision, and we can only scrounge the internet for the scarce decent recordings of the outcome of these amazing shows.
heh, never thought of that but yeah.
mature musicians never try to show off
@@smkxodnwbwkdns8369 you don’t know what it’s like to be a musician lol. Musicians at high levels don’t “show off” for show off sake but they do show off to make other members of the band laugh. Look at Josh Freese, one the most successful and mature drummers in rock history and he’s posting stuff about him playing stuff specifically to make Dave laugh. That’s what musicians do. That’s what we are.
This comment should get 1000+ likes cuz it’s fkn accurate 😌👌🏼
I was there dude! RIP Mark Lanegan thank you brother
This version of Regular John is on point, if only there was a higher quality version...
If Only (Only)
There actually is... BUT audio only. Listened to it first time back around ‘07 when my QOTSA bootleg collecting picked up immensely. Had the damn thing in collection for a bit til about 26-27 shows got swiped by some jackass. Only 8 copies of those shows including Fuji Rock ‘02 here were never found again and replaced in my collection. Pisses me off every time I go to think about it to this day! Long story short though (too late, I know) yes there is an audio copy of this that sounded as if recorded thru band’s soundboard, it’s that good!

Grohl is such a beast on drumms, one of the best drummers ever!! His style is just perfect for the music.
34:20 Asi se hace, carajo!!! Dave Grohl (una vez mas) demostrando porqué es EL baterista!!
Dam can't wait too turn it up loud.
At home I meant.
Addicted to Homme. ❤⚡❤⚡
Love
This is an awesome setlist but bad audio quality. Too bad
fuckin dave grohl + QOTSA is A combo
i wish i were here...
the sound is so thin :(
Do you have the AMT version of them live Phoenix Festival 1996? If you do can you upload it?
1996? dam...
‘96?! Sure about that cos I thought they came together as a band in ‘97 which 1st LP didn’t come out til ‘98. This giving them something to actually build on and promote/tour with.
Man he was a monster
Does anybody know where a better audio quality version of this show exists
With my guitar also. Ok thanks
dave is completely out of his mind haha hilarious
"no one knows" you're bootlegging this from inside a bag.
Bucket hat land.
Can I come back in time and swap place with people who aren't dancing?
did you got the FF gig? I have to see this gig!
Yeah too bad the kick drum hits sound like queefs
Badass set though.
Grohl should've just ended the foo fighters and drummed for Queens permanently
foo fighters is and always will be a better band with better music, theres no reason for dave to have made a worse decision
@@BigHumz155 I think most people who know both Songs for the Deaf and Foo Fighters would disagree.
@@BigHumz155 you can’t compare queens and foo fighter, queens are better by miles
fixed audio more bass ,clipping removed ua-cam.com/video/p85acDU06Xg/v-deo.html
