An overlooked classic from the 1970's the Gibson Les Paul Recording Model is updated with features designed for the modern player. The Recording Model was Les' go-to-axe from its inception in 1971 up to his passing in 2009. Now, Gibson USA has re-invented the Recording Model for the next generation of sonic pioneers.

Les worked so hard to get a pure, unaltered sound from a guitar, just so you can pump it through tons of distortion? He would've hated this demo!

Nice job disguising the sound with distortion effects! How about trying again and this time turn the effects off!

I've always wanted on of these. Just wish I had the money.

What it is with this is this - ol’ Lester was a spinning fruit loop on account he NEVER SLEEP! An’ that’s official I know ‘cos the US navy tested him and recorded him not sleeping before he was famous! 😮

Great to have Gibson at 16 Ton for the demo on the new LP Recording. It's a beautiful guitar and it sounded fantastic through our vintage API. Tim was great to work with as well on the video side and hope to have him back in the future on some other projects. Bart, Steve and Jim….incredible job on this knocked out LP!
