Nice video, and love the location! I was up there last week. On the other side of the trestle, atop that pile of rocks. Added a spike to the small stacked rocks on that big pile. Caught three trains that morning! A BNSF H and a J plus the MRL's LM! Great place!
Before the helpers showed up, I was wondering what they were going to do for buffer cars. I guess on MRL, it's BYOB...Bring Your Own Buffers. Neat stuff. Amazing show.
What a awesome video!! Love the DPUs pulling hard! What I noticed about the BNSF buffer cars is that I have caught the same 2 on a crude oil train in New York on Oct 1 2022, just crazy to see the exact same 2 cars together on a train all the way in Montana.
Simplicity at its finest Scott. Great video. Any idea where this train originated and whether this cargo is refined or unrefined product? I don't recall seeing any placards.
The sound of the MRL helper set working hard up the mountain is always music to my ears.
Wow the Helpers sound fantastic! I am so jealous you got the front row seat . Beautiful country , beautiful railroad. Thanks Scott!

Those helpers sound amazing
Great video Scott
An amazing weight in that train. Again, a fantastic video.
I absolutely LOVE those GEs, they work extremely hard on steep grades with heavy freight cars
😂😂😂
That is quite the show. Excellent video Scott.
At least you don’t have to block out those details you used to in the past….and great stuff as usual….
Fantastic video and awesome sound as usual. Thanks!
Awesome as usual 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥💪🏼✌️🙋🏻♂️

Hi Gra Gor. I believe this is crude oil from North Dakota heading to the oil refineries on the US west Coast.
They all appear to have to have class 2 placards.
Definitely one heavy oil train
Fragile infinstructure. It seems to me now if a train derails on the bridges it can cause the bridge to fail.
Pipeline on wheels..
That would be funny if the train honked at you lol
