- In this episode, I'm headed towards the High Atlas mountains of Morocco. But in February, it's still deep into winter here! Especially high up in the mountains, it gets very, very cold...

The common denominator among all of Noraly's travels is the amazing kindness and generosity of the local populace. The media and politicians all too often villainize a country and correspondingly disrespect the population at large which is sinful. Noraly's travels are transformative both in terms of the amazing geography she explores but also the amazing cultures and diversity of the local inhabitants. It tends to rekindle one's faith in humanity.
So true....
Although you will find this kind of hospitality in many regions , Islam specifically requires it - but then, so does Christianity
Most people are lovely and helpful just like you would be to a traveler. It’s politics that mess up everything…. avoid them at all costs. 😉
Noraly's attitude, friendlyness, open smile, laugh, wave, greetings, and attempt to communicate with all in their language reveals her many talents.
Couldn't agree more!

I will admit I was a little disappointed when Noraly announced that Australia (where I live) would not be her destination for S7 but now, after seeing just four episodes, I am so glad that she chose Morocco. What an amazing place and such hospitable, kind hearted people.
Welcome ❤️❤️

Who could imagine a channel where reading the comments are as interesting and worthy of the time reading them as that of our World Ambassador and moto adventurer, Noraly. What an extraordinary community she continues to build. It feels like a Movement.
True. But I find all the youtube videos & comments equally as important & interesting. The comments reflect on the video & vice versa. They both bring us all together, like family of same interests.
Thank you for showing us the beauty in the world that most of us will never see in person
Even worse, I don't know about everybody else but, I assume it's dangerous and ugly in most of these places.
@@jerrym3261 what an unfortunate assumption. Morocco is so not like that. The people are beautiful, friendly and very welcoming.
@@feather1950 But, I do think it is a common assumption. I am in the US and I am thinking about expat options. Mostly I'm looking at Ecuador, Panama, Guatemala and Portugal. I found Itchy Boots because somebody on a Ecuador expat page posted when she was in Ecuador (Dec 2021). Itchy Boots is great at showing the world is not as dangerous and ugly as we might think. I know very little about Africa even less about the northern part of Africa. What I see most is evil government, genocide, war, famine, wildlife poaching and not much good. I am much looking forward to Itchy Boots educating me.

Please, don't be so naïef.
Travelling isn't the same as living in Morocco.
Moroccans do tend to discriminate Berbers.

You welcome
Morocco is love for the world and foreigners, and I am Moroccan 🙋💯
Noraly is quite unique. She combines a beautiful spirit with an artists sensibility while managing the constantly changing technical and logistical challenges. There is a true depth to what she does. At one level she simply entertains us but on another she educates and inspires. She must leave a trail of fire in the hearts and minds of the young women and girls as she travels these remote tracks and villages.
Beautifully stated and I agree completely!
Patrick, You couldn't have said it better. I have followed Noraly for years and you are so right, it takes a lot more to present this so beautifully and we are the beneficiaries.
“Trail of fire”….beautifully stated.
Not just women and girls, but ALL people.
Patrick, are you a Southern California Pritchard?? I have family there on moms side. Thanks, Jim
Your videos are so popular with people, not only for educational purposes , but for your positive and upbeat attitude. Even when you were suffering from a leg injury during the Mexico rally, you showed courage and strength. If there was ever a genuine and unpretentious person, it is you. What an amazing young lady you are. God bless you.
Noraly's submissions while being involuntarily quarantined in Peru were so jarring and upsetting precisely because her wings were clipped. Watching her soar is what we adore.
The locals are so super friendly. Its amazing.
❤️ welcome
OMG...thank you Noraly...many moons ago we Landrovered across Africa, arriving from Spain. My memory of Morocco is that it is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. The landscapes there are, how can I describe, spiritual in their beauty. I have a memory of one particular area, just rolling grassy hills, but unlike anything. Otherworldly. And then crossing the Atlas mountains and into the Sahara....this will be epic. Ride safe Noraly, and love from New Zealand to you and all of you everywhere who love this channel and the beautiful world we live on and share.
your parents raised a wonderful human being! you are a treasure Noraly! stay safe...
I like how Noraly learnt "Good morning" in arabic. It's a kind of respect for other cultures. Keep up Noraly waiting for you to visit Tunisia 🇹🇳❤️.
I totally agree, she’s an amazing ambassador of goodwill everywhere she goes. 🙏🏼
She's respectful and always learning.
Learning hello, goodbye, thank you, good morning are the first 4 phrases you learn when traveling. Everyone says it to you or around you, so it's natural to pick it up. Looking forward to seeing her in Tunisia. I'm sure your country will be beautiful!

Very well articulated Rick. My sentiments exactly. I've tried to watch similar channels but nothing compares and I don't think ever will in this category. Noraly is special in every way. The only conclusion I have come to is that she must be an angel sent from heaven.
I think her secrets are she is intelligent, curious, teachable (humble), knowledgeable and genuinely respectful of every culture she encounters. My hat is off to you, Noraly, and I wish you continued good fortune in all your endeavors.

Once again, Noralys search for adventure has brought us to a place FEW of us would ever get to see...The high mountain views, the drone footage and her knowledge of 4-5 languages, while may be limited, allows her to communicate with people all over the world, but it's her wide smile, friendly face and the ability to met people where they are at, either rich or poor that truly makes Noraly a world class traveler. Well done..
Absolutely subscribe what you say, she is special. The unkown road toward mountain with her laughing a little bit nervously...we can feel the sense of the adventure. Thank you Noraly
Absolutely and Amen❤️
I've invited you in Khenifra to spend with us a day or two since your first step in Morocco . Now you are in Agoudim it's about 160 km from home but in the other side of the middle Atlas mountains . When i heard about the earthquake in the High Atlas mountains i had to watch this episode again. Hopefully the people she encountered survived given the where the epicenter was located
the earthquake occurred in another part of the Atlas Mountains, so I think the people she visited are safe and sound, may God have mercy on people who died in the earthquake.
A beautiful trip. What distinguishes Morocco is that each region retains its ancient culture and its people are kind. Moroccans are very hospitable and humble.
I never thought in that there would be snow in an African country. And it is so pretty, love to see the Moroccan landscapes and many colourful people.

Morocco has had an unusual amount of snow and cold temperatures this winter. My best friend years ago was Moroccan I think she had 7 siblings all older and 1 alot younger. When we went round to her mum's house it was decorated in all Moroccan fabrics and furniture it was beautiful. Her dad had also married a much younger woman that lived a few streets away and had now 2 toddlers which were her brother and sister as in their culture the men can marry a few times. We live about 20min drive from London UK and their home had just had new hand crafted furniture and beautiful rugs delivered. Love the culture and their food as quite often her mum would bring out the evening meal and we'd sit on the floor with this wonderful aroma from the spices & the beautiful colours. Great memories thank you.
