I don't know what it is about them! Maybe because you hear them a lot when you're going from place to place, but they're not really something you focus on. They go into your subconscious!
At 3:59 大人のデパートclearly means department store for adults :) But despite having been twice to Akihabara I never noticed that one, then again I probably would not be visiting it myself ^^. I still have to get used to the concept of stores and restaurants being on higher floors myself. Something I seldomly see at places in the Netherlands and Germany, most things here are all on the ground level. Once again an interesting and fun to watch video. Thanks @Cakes with Faces :)
Same here in the UK, you'd never have to go up a tiny escalator between shops to get to a restaurant or something! Yes I can see the Japanese sign now! A lot of people might be surprised by that store!!
Thanks again for all your work!! I really enjoy watching all your vlogs and showed them to my friends. I'm kinda curious as to where you get your ideas for places to visit and what to doyeas for places to visit and what to do. Just wondering...Do ya think you may have been Japanese in another life??? hehehe Thanks again!
Haha, I follow lots of Japan blogs etc on Twitter and watch a lot of Japan videos! I keep a collection of interesting places on Pinterest - my username's Cakeswithfaces on there if you want to see it (it's really messy, I made it for my own reference mostly!)
I think that your video is a video that can reduce troubles with Japanese people traveling to Japan! I am very grateful as a Japanese for bridging Japan and overseas! I'm sorry because I'm Japanese, so I'm sorry.
Your English is very good! :-) I want to help people go to Japan. Some people are nervous about going to Japan, because they don't know what it will be like! :-)
@@raineyisles I'd say they're a little pricey for whole outfits - so you might need to save up before you go! There's also a cosplay shop in Osaka in this video (might be able to see some prices!): ua-cam.com/video/Klxy16L41oI/v-deo.html
I've been to other Animates and they have a good selection of merch, etc. The one in Ikebukuro's in Otome Road (supposedly known as Akihabara for women - not that Akihabara isn't for women!!!). Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Amy...i'm in tokyo now but i'll leave on wednesday ☹️ i'll miss it very much...however the only thing that I won't miss is the smell of piss that some Cars in the metro has 🙃🙃
There was a terrible massacre in Akihabara in 2008. They stopped pedestrianising the streets for a while after that. However as I understand it, I don't think there were ever many cosplayers on the streets in Akihabara. Coasplay's something that people do at conventions and events, rather than on the street. So if you want to see cosplayers, look out for anime cons or special events.
I spotted some figures and merch (we went to Tower Records when they had a JoJo theme cafe, with lots of special merch - my friends are big fans!). Not sure about cosplays but I didn't have a comprehensive look through all of them!
Hello !
Your japanese high-school girl style is so cute !
If possible, I'd like to see other styles !
And, also Phil's.😁
Please have fun !
Haha, Phil hasn't done any cosplay - but I think he could be persuaded to do a group cosplay from Persona 4 or 5!

Thank you for comment back.
I want to see that !
Know what you mean about the station sounds! Instant nostalgia for me and I'm stood back at those stations!

god just got back from Japan and this video makes me miss it so much.

They no longer do the cosplay publicly anymore due to some sort of killing that took place there, right?

Do they have demon slayer?
If there's one available, this is where you'd find it!
