Hey! Nyacos is good and swallowtail (from the video) have an online shop for wigs too, as do assist wig. Sakuracos has an alright but pricey range. Neolarge do order made but I’ve not used them so not sure how costly it is! I’d recommend searching for specific items on rakuten or sometimes there’s good second hand stuff on mercari Depending on where you’re based sometimes hobby shops have a second hand cosplay area! There’s a great one in the Mandarake in Osaka if that’s slightly closer to you?
I saw sizes up to XL and an XXL while having a rifle through. I think you just gotta go with some time and patience, mostly they seem to be size S or L (weirdly not many M)
Don’t worry! You don’t need Japanese to enjoy Japan. People are always very welcoming and will try their best to communicate and speak English, most signs are also in English so you’ll be just fine ☺️
