Hi Davidebert8034! I hope you had a great time in Japan. You visited 2 of my favorite cities, Hiroshima and Kyoto. Donki is both overwhelming and exciting and you’re bound to find great things to bring back.
@@everydaywithana My colleagues were very happy with all of the things I brought back. Between Mega Don Quijote AND the big Daiso store, I spent 30,000 Yen and filled up two shopping baskets! I bought keychains, pens, Petit Block, chopsticks, and assorted cool stuff! For me, I went crazy at Yodobashi Akihabara buying Ban Dai Gundam and Tamiya scale models. I’ll do it again in 2025!
Yay! Recommendations, slow careful filming (no manic editing or nausea-inducing rapid panning) and importantly-- CLEAR SHOTS OF PRICE TAGS!!! Thank you so much! Love seeing what you buy and recommend, I'm such a sucker for enthusiasm and when you highly recommend a product or bulk buy I immediately add it to my own shopping list, ha! Thanks again Ana, this was really fun.
@@everydaywithana Thank YOU for taking the time to film and upload such terrifically niche, helpful and happy content! It truly is the continuous joy of 'the little moments' that create the sum of 'one big great life'. 🤩
You’ll have a blast in Tokyo jessicadelores2022! Please stay tuned for the latest update on product prices. I believe I will swing by Tokyo before May.
Sorry for my late reply but I hope the video helped out for your trip. It’s so much fun shopping in Japan right now with the depreciating Japanese yen. I hope you had a wonderful time in Japan and returned home with luggages filled with Japanese goodies.
Thanks for the video is super helpful with the prices. I want to ask if the KitKats are individually wrap? Im thinking of getting a few flavors and hand them as gift to friends and coworkers and wanted to know if they are wrapped individually.
Hi RickGhastly-ty8cq! Donki has plenty of Japanese souvenirs. I don’t recall seeing daruma statues but I did see nekos. I suggest visiting a Mega Donki which is bigger and have more selections. I hope this helps and happy travel!
Hello strwbberipawzz. I think if I showed the entire adult section, then my video would be flagged. The part I showed which was 2 aisles were mostly costumes. The rest of the section was quite scandalous, lol!
Hi michellejorge8044. Pero mas mura yung iba like fino at beauty products keysa sa shopee at lazada. Yun lang talaga gusto. Yung iba para sa kids at extended family.
Hi Brnwshd1212. Please check with airline rules regarding the size allowed for check in. When I fly with Cathay Pacific to Japan, I’m allowed the size of 100ml container in my check in. It might be different for other airlines so it’s beat to check. I hope this helps and happy travels.
^ I sooooo wish they had a Don Quijote in the US. Could you imagine? Would be beyond popular. Especially the prices! Wow. Some speciality stores near me that sell asian beauty products have to sell them for like double the cost( I guess for import fees and such). Silly question.... but for skincare/makeup does it matter where you buy the products in Tokyo? Like between DQ, Cosme,Matsumoto Kiyoshi ,etc.... in terms of drugstore beauty products. if prices and quality are all somewhat similar.
Hi clisaa6974. I went to Donki and BicCamera and the prices are the same. But the stores have promos for extra discounts and not all stores will have the same promo. For example Donki Ginza offers an extra 10% off but Donki Shibuya doesnt. Bic, Donki, and department stores are tax free if you buy a certain amount but I dont know if drugstores are tax free. I hope this helps.
It’s also law that visitors carry their passports with them. Be careful there’s a big ticket that comes with it. Not that you’ll get stopped very often, if at all. 🤷♂️👍
Thanks for this. Really appreciate the fact that you put the prices as well. Very handy! 🙂
Glad it was helpful!
I just got back from 8 days and 7 nights in Tokyo, with day trips to Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Osaka. I went to Mega Don Quijote-that place is huge!

❤❤❤❤❤ I love this store. I visit my son in Japan and we go every time we are there!
Hi Lisavaldez7638. Visiting Donki is a must when in Japan.
It looks like an interesting store. The prices seemed to be reasonable as well. Apparently, they have good prices on Seiko watches as well.
Right now is a great time to shop in Japan. Check out Nakano Broadway, Jack & Road, Kamekichi for 2nd hand watches. Happy shopping!
The best donki shopping haul n napanood ko. Thank you ana👏
Thank you, victorsalosa2797!

Hi Remywonderland7507. I love visiting Donki not only in Japan but also in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. But the prices in Japan are the best.
i'm shocked about final price. it's a good bargain. and i loved the video as well.
Hi emmasol523! The markup when buying outside Japan is ridiculously high.
Very helpful thank you so much. I’ll be in Tokyo next May! ❤ 🎉 I’m so excited for it

Can we put the liquid skin care products in our checked in baggage? I want to buy a lot

Hello analeahalontaga2791. 2 days lang ako sa Tokyo. Mainit ngayon at daming tourists. Maganda mag shop kc bagsak ang yen.
Di ko kinaya yung stairs sa dulo haha hihingalin ako agad 🤣
Dalhin mo si Brie parang may barbels, lol
❤❤❤
Thank you, jasminename9360.
Why should we bring passport? ( just curious )
Hi numerousmsianz6987. You will need to show your passport to get tax free on your purchases if you are a tourist.
It’s also law that visitors carry their passports with them. Be careful there’s a big ticket that comes with it. Not that you’ll get stopped very often, if at all. 🤷♂️👍
Hello po, anong conversion rate ginamit niyo po sa yen to peso?
Thank you
Hi inang1968. I use XE app.
Is it allowed to bring beef products into the US? I thought beef and cheese are not allowed.
Hi pianoetudes4755. I currently live in the Philippines.
I miss donki! Budol everytime ❤❤😂
Truth! Kaya talagang nag budget ako para lang sa Donki, lol
