  • I discuss some of the best bits of Casanova Preface to his mighty Autobiography 'History of my Life'. The preface is the opening chapter in which Casanova lays out his life theories and justifies his behaviour as a free agent. He talks about his beliefs in God, the traits needed to live a free life, and he justifies having lived on his wits, to engage and often trick other people into getting what he wanted.
    I am using the 1960s translation by Donald Tusk.

    I love your videos on casanova! Would love to watch more of them, just started reading his autobiography myself and i find it really fascinating and deep.
