  • Follow along as I install original rear wheel liners (wheelhouse) on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado work truck. I looked for an installation video on the procedure. When I could not find one I decided to make one for the next person that wants to install these. I broke down all the steps and included the parts numbers. I suggest you remove the wheel for easier installation. Please feel free to comment if you have something to add to the video. If you do not own a Silverado, next time you are on the road look how many of these Silverado trucks do not have these liners. Why purchase aftermarket when you can install these?

Thanks for the video. My coworker pointed out how I should do something since my 2014 WT doesn't have liners in the back. Nasty Chicagoland road salt in the winters here. I got my order today and will be installing hopefully tomorrow. It's a lower end model, but I love my truck and want to protect it the best I can and your video convinced me just how easy this is to do yourself. Thanks.

I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ and I am replacing the factory original liners with aftermarket. Mine have felt which in Michigan where we get a lot of snow that snow and slush packed in there so tight I had to Chisel it out. So I want to buy ones that are plastic and hopefully will not stick

Completely different 4.3 from your old one. The Eco tech 4.3 is a 5.3 with two cylinders chopped off. The old 4.3 has not one part in common with your new one. Good video.

I now know why the back wheel well looks so huge. The liner makes a big difference. I will be ordering these. Thanks for the video.

I just got a rubber liner from rough country. I didn’t want to get a carpet one for the back and I’m thinking about changing the front ones to rubber too. Thank you for the video helped out a little bit

Thanks for your video! I just bought a used 2018 GMC Sierra that looks just like yours (white work truck). I have been wondering about the plastic aftermarket products (Husky, etc.) but... like you, were concerned about the "fit" issues brought up in the reviews. Plus, the factory material around my front wheels looks like it would have better sound dampening qualities vs the plastic aftermarket ones.

Great video!!..One important note is that on the top of the wheel well I noticed a large removable plug on both the driver and passenger side..I've seen a lot of these trucks where rust is starting on the top lip...Removing those plugs and flushing with water every spring would slow that rusting down.I'd really like access to those plugs but with an existing cover or newly installed cover, the access is blocked....Something to think about...I have a 2017 with covers factory installed...I'm trying to think of a way to access those plugs easily....Might be tough.

Take your taillight out and stick your pressure washer wand in through the opening.

Great video and thanks for your time. I have a 2017 custom double cab and I bought those liner at the dealer but they didn’t fit. The part # for this set is 84154469 and the one that I need is the 84154470. This is a OEM part. I did a search and other accessories company had this number I think that the set that I have fits from 2013 to 2015 and the part # ending on 70 fits from 2016 to 2018 I will update this when I found the right part number. Don’t make the same mistake that I did and get the wrong stuff. I even called at the dealer and give them the first part number and the last 8 #’s of the vin and I was told that that was the right part but wrong so I will keep you posted.
