I have said that as well after watching cop videos. They are already on edge to begin with and have trained to draw their weapon when they feel threatened. (I don't blame them) I've seen a cop shoot someone at point blank range for a traffic stop because the driver proclaimed he was armed, probably as to not surprise the cop. He reached for his wallet and the cop thought he was going for his weapon. The guy had no criminal record and was driving with a family. Another guy also got shot to death when he was told to get on his knees and walk towards them with his hands up. He was crying and saying, "please don't shoot me, I don't want to die" all the while. His other hand reached down to pull his shorts up and even before he could got shot. There's also that "Acorn" incident, where a cop shot at a man already detained with his hands cuffed behind his back at the back of his patrol car. When going around to get to the driver side, an acorn fell on his patrol car and though he was getting shot at with the man that was described. He emptied his clip shooting the back of his own patrol car...That's just the stories I know at the top of my head. TL;DR Cops are dangerous, be extra careful and don't make sudden movements during an interaction.
99% of the time when someone asks "are you okay?" they are absolutely unprepared for "no" and have absolutely no idea what to say or do, they just really wanted you to say "yes" because they don't really care about you

He wasn't briefed. He was on a stop and saw a gun. It's fucking awful, but it's not even his fault. In that situation, 99.99% of the time, you are guaranteed not dealing with an undercover, and your reaction time is all that keeps you from getting your family a flag for Christmas. There was a communication failure, and it caused a fuckin tragedy. Makes you wonder what you might actually do in the exact same scenario cause I promise you, your hindsight isn't going to do you any good in the moment when shit is actively hitting the fan and you don't have the luxury of time and peace. Being on the streets, dealing with people, who may or may not decide to use their braincells today, and have a 50/50 split chance of hating police or not, tends to be a little more difficult than having a morning tea and book club session with grandpa. You're not discussing Chaucer with cousin Elliot, you're explaining that driving into oncoming traffic with a beer in your hand is illegal to Suzy "BJ" Lacey for the 9th time in thirty minutes because she's twacked out of her gourd on meth, and can't think any further than she can see down the street. It's chaos, and people are either wasting your time, being stupid, or evil freaks like Dahmer. And it's all, all too common. That guy shot his friend and colleague. He's going to live with that mistake torturing him for the rest of his existence. You're doing nobody any good, so why the fuck say it at all? Object the situation all you want, I'll agree the whole time. The lack of communication is abhorrent and should never have happened. Neither officer should have been placed in that situation. But mocking the guy while you can listen to him actively suffering and begging his friend not to die is where I call bullshit, my friend.

The fact that the cops immediately erupt into sheer panic is exactly why we have such a problem. You're giving lethal weapons to trigger happy children.
Is it me or is it getting far worse than ever before (I say that as a guy in my mid-50s)? It seems like the training cops get today focuses more or fear-inducing topics like automatically assuming someone is a threat, or assuming the worse. Versus a more methodical analysis of a situation. There needs to be better screening for tolerance of fear or something too.
@@fleatactical7390 well, many police forces invested in training which doesnt deserve that name.. "Warrior mindset" was the name of the programm i think... made many much more fearfull and easy to trigger, they teached policework is like in a warzone you always need to be ready to shoot. i am glad to be born raised and live in germany, where to be a policeman takes 3 years of deescalation training and intensive studys of weaponless defense... even suspects armed with knives, get mostly disarmed without use of deadly force in germany. yeah sometimes even they have no other resort than to shoot, and also we have bad cops but the number is really small. our police shot since WWII as many people in germany, as USA police does every single year.. (we have around 1/4 of the polulation yet it took us 80 years to kill as many as usa police in one year shoots to death.... really revealing i think....)
The minute training that American cops receive before being set loose on the population is legitimately terrifying to me. I hold dual citizenship, but have never lived permanently in America and I never will. The number of shootings is insane! I could live my life never setting foot in the country again or could relinquish my citizenship very happily.
What training? Your right though about how a lot of cops are over there. Have you seen their weight some of them? The shape on some, jeez. How'd they pass psychical exam? They get trained more like security guards,I was a security guard once, we also got trained in first aid and how to handle crowds/people, doing patrols look for break ins. Just took some classes and thats it. It dosnt take long to become a cop or sheriff in the US just a short duration training course and some training on how to use their guns. That kind of reckless behaviour is a symptom of their training and attitudes too. Quality training and the weeding out of the undesirables equals a more competent effective and professional police. Example if you have thin skin and act aggressive to a verbal insult can't control your emotions then been a cop is not the job for you because in that line of work it happens all the time. People bound to get rude or offensive disrespectful. The egos on some of them officers too. Using phrases like "my town". It's not your town it's the people's. Like they better than everyone else. Power and authority can really corrupt a weak person. Many are just @ssholes too, their personalities. Police departments across America need more recruits due to personnel shortages they've lowered their standards in alot of places, it's a true fact. Look at that FBI agent. FBI . They do lie detector tests and everything before they hire somebody. You have to be experienced they only hire the best people with high qualifications.Thats the image anyway. That FBI guy has arrested many people over his career but can't handle two seconds in handcuffs in the back of a patrol car sitting there moaning and b!cthing saying "sir" and "ma'am" every five seconds like a school kid who got caught doing something wrong. He's FBI. I can't wrapped my head around that one. Just to be selected apparently you have to pass psychology tests polygraph tests background checks etc ,have to be experienced with law enforcement too yet he has a few drinks and goes off the rails unable to control himself and starts breaking down crying begging. The cop who sh*t his undercover colleague is a perfect example of their sh**t first ask questions later wild west cowboy approach to even the slightest perceived threat or risk with really bad ,fatal consequences. All that tactical gear too makes them hyped up and combative, like looking for some action, they actually did a study on it. They've literally k*lled people, completely innocent minding their own business in their own homes. Its become the norm. What American police lack real accountability. Thats why in my country the police don't investigate the police if something happens, a seperate authority thats independent of the police reviews their conduct and can hold them accountable and make recommendations that they must do. But in America the police investigate themselves. The outcome is no surprise. Oy when the public outrage is too big too high profile do they actually act like theyre doing something about it. They become tribal "looking out for each other" and theyre also friends so it only causes impunity lack of oversight and it only encourages them to act with total disregard to citizens rights and how theyre treated. A badge is like a reason for them to go on a power trips like it means boss others around or be unnecessarily aggressive or rude and unsympathetic towards some people. It's a hard job, that's why most arent made for it. Character and discipline just as important as the training.

Many do but if you have ever had someone close to you die or have them in a situation where their life is in danger then you know it's simply different. The irony of that last cop being treated exactly like he treats civilians and then has the audacity to complain about it and want to file a lawsuit when he's more guilty than that security guard😮
I don't understand the last one. When he said he wasn't there in his official encounter, and then reenacts putting his on his weapon while refuting that he did not put his hands on his weapon... wtf. I thought the security guy should have got a raise!
So he was A ok shooting a drug dealer who DIDNT pose any threat, (the individual in question merely possesed a gun, had not brandished, threatened, or even touched said gun) but is immediately destroyed upon learning its a fellow cop?
The security guard did his job properly, the original video shows the cops' arrogance at having to "comply" with the rules of the building. And for that he was let go. He didn't do what cops do, he acted lawfully.
The absolute worst person you could come across in any situation is a scared cop. Some people should not be cops.
Most ppl should not be cops. But also, nobody wants to be cops or should be one.
People should all have the right ro carry their own guns and handcuffs and just call cops after someones already been arrested.
Because that won't cause mass shootings. Oh wait it already does. Y'all Americans are actually brain broken @@AckzaTV
TL;DR
Cops are dangerous, be extra careful and don't make sudden movements during an interaction.
And that’s why there’s no cops. It’s a scary job

I understand that police officers need to be trained to stay calm but they’re still only human.
#ClownShow!
