22-Year-Old Musician Doesn't TRUST BANKS! Quickly Wakes Up and Stacks his FIRST GOLD!

- In this video a 22-year-old musician decides to start stacking gold and silver because he doesn't trust banks or the US dollar! Tim Marschner of The Coin and Stamp Shop explains gold coins to a new stacker and sells him his first 1/10-ounce gold Philharmonic. Are banks about to fail? I ask my gold and silver dealer many questions about precious metals during my visit to my bullion dealer and learn a lot. I think all American patriots and stackers should be concerned that OUR accounts and wealth could be at risk! As I've said many times, BE THE BANK! Don't wait for a 21st century run on the banks to take you by surprise! Never before has stacking precious metals been as important to do as it is today. Protect yourself from out-of-control governments, evil central banks, and the failing US dollar's grip as the world's reserve currency. Make sure you build a stack of silver rounds, silver bars, silver coins, and gold coins as essential barter and wealth preservation!

#Silver #Gold #Banks
That 22 year old has more monetary sense than I had at 42, back in 1999. Good for him!
I've heard many people say they buy silver and gold because it stopped them from wasting money on non important things. Me included.
I agree there is that step of selling that makes you think twice
That's how I started. I wanted to try something different.
Yup, years ago I enjoyed gambling. Stacking completely replaced that and saving way more cash too
@@dustyc324your long haul gambling now 🎉😂❤ but you’ll always retain it at least. Every piece is still a winner
Almost 70 and a collector of glass and pottery since I was about 8. Loved Fenton Burmese glass...has gold within. Now I am selling it and exchanging for silver and gold...the sad thing is China bought most of my collection. They were willing to pay 3-5 times more than US buyers. Wish I had purchased gold and silver all those years.
Wow! That 22 year old man is very wise! Most of the people in his generation are clueless on what is going on! Kudos to him! Thanks Yankee for another great video! God bless you!
Him not trusting the banks or the currency pretty much says that he gets it. Kudos to him for understanding
how precarious these are and how dangerous it is to have all of our wealth in these two baskets.
I’m 25 and just now started stacking… this generation has NO clue. I had no clue myself until September 2023, and finally after much studying I’ve decided to put my savings into gold and silver.
I’m 21 got a decent stack but my friend who is the same age as me has been buying since he was like 15 and he had like 20 gold coins before covid so he made bank
I agree! @@edb3877
The first man is such a good man. Being European, Its so sad to see how US government is treating European descendants so badly. Gold is so beautiful.
The portrait of Charles alone is very bad looking politics aside.
@@thekiwiclipper1113 Sometimes I think of what a coin with Charles or Elizabeth would look like with a horses rear end put in place of their
picture. One might not be able to do that on a coin but one could do that with a graphics program and a PC. Would be hilarious to see this! 🤣
We got the same Demonrats in power here. Same agende, same insanity.
Today is March 5th. Tomorrow is Tim's birthday! Happy early birthday Tim!!! We are birthday brothers!!! I will be a level 37...
Both of my sons (24 and 28) have been hearing me rant and rave for 15+ years about how the financial system is a fraudulent Ponzi scheme and how gold and silver are real money and have been for 5000 years and always will be. I don’t think either of them has ever purchased an oz of silver and the several hundred ozs they have has been gifts from me. It’s awesome to see that a 22 year old gets it. The unfortunate thing is that those who don’t understand will learn the hard way. Excellent channel
They get it if they still have it. Just not motivated to keep it going. But there’s a foundation there for them to build off of that you placed🎉 ❤
Have you a trumps up, but your boys will never learn the value of money if you give it to them. Maybe have they work for it.
because you keep giving them some why would they need to buy any?
It’s about understanding what real money is. It’s about understanding that the income they earn and deposit in a bank isn’t theirs. It’s about being able to think critically and not become indoctrinated into the twisted lies and bullshit that exists everywhere. Nothing is as it seems and as far as finances go, those who have held strong and continued to stack metals will be the new 1% and those who haven’t are gonna get a rude wake-up call.
22 years old? That guy is a genius! God please bless that young man!
Yes, and his fiancé as well.
Agreed!@@edb3877
I was 18 when I bought my first oz. That was July 1976
Nice work! I remember silver being 4 dollars an ounce when my Dad go me into it.@@macclark4112
I to was proud of him.
There were a couple of smart young people in the shop for sure.
Great to see, I liked the young man who plays the organ. No surprise, he chose the Philharmonic with the pipe organ on the obverse.
My dad was a classically trained concert organist, among other things. Right after dad graduated high school, he got the "greetings" letter from Uncle Sam. He'd completed boot and on the way to the front lines in Korea. They stopped at Japan. Dad was always a Christian, so he went to the chapel and didn't see anyone around, and made his way up to the organ loft, and began playing the organ. At some point, he sensed someone watching him. It was the chaplain and a major at that. Dad's account was him apologizing profusely. The major was not upset, and asked if dad could read music, which of course he could. The major started flipping through a hymnal at random, asking dad to play songs. After a few songs, the major began questioning dad about his training, musical, military, and where he was headed. Shortly after his stop at the chapel, dad was reassigned from the infantry to the cavalry. He was then the Chaplains assistant and organist for Camp Crawford Japan.
The last few years of dad's life were rough for mom as he had dementia which had taken away his ability to play his beloved organ. He remembered his life changing experience that day in Korea playing the organ.
He would tell me that story every time I went to the house to check in on them, sometimes more than once in a visit. He forgot things almost immediately. Mom would get agitated with him telling me that story over and over and try to shush him. I told her one day that as long as dad still had the ability to tell the story, I wanted to hear it from him, not only out of respect, but that story was very important to him and he wanted me to know it. He was a brilliant man. It was really hard watching dementia slowly and insidiously rob him of his mind.
Today, I believe that he is in Heaven, and he's back in the cavalry playing the most glorious organ of all for a Heavenly choir.
His Hammond church organ is still in the living room at mom's house. I see it and can still hear the beautiful music coming from it as dad practiced for church every Sunday.
I must say that as a 28yrs old Norwegian who have never been to The States before, I have a visit to Tim's shop far above for example seing Grand Canyon for my bucketlist 😊❤ He is so educational for our generation, and he teaches us alot of value speaking about gold&silver metals, that A TON of people here in Norway seems to have forgotten about....REAL VALUE! ❤
So I just want to say... Thank YOU Sir! 😊❤🎉
As an American who grew up in Norway (USAF father flew C-130's out of Fornebu) Norway is a most enchanting country. It's my bucketlist to return one day. p.s. As a kid I fell into the large fountain at Frogner Park. 😂 Recently I sold $5000 worth of silver and bought small gold (1/10 & 1/4 oz) and the price of gold surged while silver is still 'meh' ...nice but 'meh'. In one week my entire gold holdings (approx 20 oz) grew by $2000!!! Gold is exciting!
22 years old and stacking? One smart cookie!
Happy 78th B-day on Wed. the 6th!!! Hope your family & the Yankee family throw you a HUGE bash. Take care & God Bless!
Always a pleasure to watch Yankee and Tim and their customers.
Now that is a smart kid
I'm impressed with the young man. I'm 57 and just began stacking silver a few months ago. Should have done it decades ago. Keep on stacking young man.
What a smart dude with cool necklace...
I think he knows what it means to be a patriot.

Watching that Young man buy Precious Metals is awesome! Congratulations!
Meanwhile, a lot of others his age are not saving anything or are buying cryptos. I really do hope that the crypto crowd does OK with it but am leery of BTC and
other cryptos because I know how governments and central banks behave when their ability to create money out of thin air is threatened... and it ain't pretty!
Once the CBDC is out, why would the US Gov tolerate a competing digital currency when they do not allow competing paper currencies? 🙄

Good to see a young person getting into it at a young age. Wish I would have started 30 years ago.... always nice to see a video with tim.
My middle daughter was a coin collector at the age of 11 and still stacks, now that she's in her 30s. Her younger sister started around the same time, because her older sister was into it. I brought them to the local coin shows twice a year. The vendors had a kids table, which all of them would donate to. My kids had so much fun picking out things for their coin collections. They still have that stuff, as well as what they stack today. Starting young is such a blessing.
Im 21 and think the same exact way. Glad to see someone else of my age and generation stacking real assets. God bless
Good stacking young man. The future belongs to you 🙂
Nice to see a young lad with the presence of mind to put some of his money into bullion. He's off to a good start for a solid future. I wasn't that wise when I was his age.
Good video Yankee, so good to see our younger generation getting on the Precious Metals train.
Is the 1st dude the caddy from Happy Gilmore???😂😂😂
Tim's going to lower the price is so much for that kid that he can get a sticker for $5! What a steal!!
So proud to see this young man protect his financial future ❤!,
beating a dead horse here in the comments but its greats seeing a 22 year old into this, I WISH I was buying gold when Im was 22...would have a nice fat pile of it today if I had...
The young lad was right not to trust banks,be your own bank by stacking gold and silver,it’s the wise thing to do👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My advice to the younger stackers, save up for ounces of gold. You pay lower premiums, and I find it is more fun having a bigger piece of gold than a few smaller ones.
Buy silver now, rounds or bars and wait for ratio to normalize then trade at a advantage
I say you need both. If the day comes when you have to use your gold for food or water, you don't want to give up your big gold. That's what the little coins are for. I have dozens of 1/10's for bartering or buying food with.
@@darrellklassen2559 silver has over 40,000 chemical/ industrial/ medical uses and is also a monetary metal. Smaller purchases silver, big purchases gold. Ratio over 80:1,premiums high, wait for ratio to return to near 20:1 then exchange.
Agree. Only ounces; no fractional. Premiums matter. Gold savings for large purchases, Silver for smaller purchases.
It always feels good to see the younger generation wising up to what's going on around them. Thanks as always, Yankee!
And Yankee and Tim are having a big impact on this younger generation.
There are layers to the lies we are told.
Majority of people are ignorant.
If we beLIEve the lies as to what our true reality is every other lie is easily beLIEved.
I was able to meet this young man in his friends and it was a Pleasure. I hope younger people see this and take his path.
The dollar is on its deathbed.
Yes, it is, but such things have been known to go on for a lot longer than any of us think is possible. 😕
As a fellow young stacker from the UK it’s good to see others starting.
That 22 year old warms my heart man.
I started stacking when I was 7 years old in 1965. I would pick up beer and soft drink bottles along the roadside in the little town I grew up in and then redeem them for silver coins that I sorted from the cash drawer in my aunt's beer joint. Great to see young people discovering the value of real money and not currency backed by nothing, printed out of thin air.
In Australia, bullion (24kt) is tax free, but the Krugerand and Eagles can incur 10% GST due to being classified as not pure bullion quality as they are 22kt.
American eagles have 1 ounce of pure gold in them just like all the other ones. If I'm not mistaken, The American Gold Eagles have a tiny percentage of another metal to give it strength and reduce scratching. But that other little bit of metal is in addition to the one ounce of pure gold.
Silver and copper.
I like seeing young individuals thinking ahead.
Good to hear people are buying local. Keep our money in our community
I love Tim taking the time to educate the young man and let him decide what he wants.
To bad Tim did not mention the Soviet Gold grab in 1933. From New Dealers to Stalin to the British Crown. Sort of shows they all answer to certain entities. May GOD bless that young man and his fiancé.
Seeing more young people buying gold and silver in my shop lately. Maybe, just maybe there is still hope for America. God help them starting off in life the way the world is now. Thanks for another .9999 fine video Yankee and Tim. Life is good.....God Bless
It is so encouraging to see younger stackers. They will never regret what they are doing.
Proud of that gentleman!
When a 22 year old musician doesn’t trust banks perhaps the end of the system is not far off
Tim is a hoot! I love your videos Yankee! You and Silver Dragons are my favorites. I just started stacking around the middle of January. I have already stacked 130 silver ounces and 3 gold ounces. And I just bought more this morning when gold and silver started to rise. Blessings friend
You Also Should Not Trust Every One In this Enviorment , That There going too be Benevilent Too You
YOU Should NOT be showing Who You are and bragging too the World What Your Got
Common Sense Should Dictate these Things , Privacy Should be Your Concern , Not being one of the Gang
I wish I was as smart that kid when I was 22. It must feel great to be able to buy your first gold at that young age!!! Good For Him!!
❤. That young man is wise beyond his years ❤
I stopped using my bank last yr. I put it in a brokerage acct now. It’s earning 5.3% interest with these high interest rates
Keep in mind that a lot of brokerages these days have banking built into them so they too must follow federal banking rules.
@@edb3877 I’m fine with it. Vanguard and Fidelity treat me better as a client than my local bank does. Plus you can buy low cost index funds and grow your wealth over time 💯👍🏻

Good ear my friend!
Peter Dante in Little Nicki!
Glad to see there are still some younger people with a brain.
Smart man...buying for a real physical savings as well as generational wealth is what people should really be after. These are people that are waking up to reality. It must be an awesome experience to see how many people you are impacting in a positive way. Keep up the good work!
Sadly, the 22yr is marrying way too young! He needs to get his life together as a man before marrying and having a family.
Brother Yankee and Tim ,makes for a good Monday evening 🤝
Blessings brothers , 🙏🏼🕊️
Cool to see the youth get it 👍
Brothers in GOLD yes!!!
When I quit drinking, instead of buying 3 blocks of piss every week for $180 I started buying rounds. Even 1 round p/w adds up. Im not rich but its the first time Ive had a little something put away, plus I'm sober all the time Win/Win.
Great episode. It's so good to see people waking up. It's very rare where I live. Great job spreading awareness Yankee.
Awesome video. Good to see interaction with customers/fans.
Would absolutely love a lol more!!!!!
The first fella needs to watch his money better , my 401k has roughly a 9.36% ROR annually
Agreed. Money management is an acquired skill that all too many of our fellow citizens lack.
Most of them are MUCH better at earning money than they are at keeping it and growing it.
It looks like a rock band just left a studio and wanted some real metal
Love seeing this 22 year old buying his first gold. Gives me hope that some of this younger generation has a working brain
Hello guys
Nice comments an koconnor.yeh I was a dingbat when I wad younger.it nice that one guy is helping his sons
That's a good father. Yankee an tim ate nice interesting people.good luck to all the collectors an new ones
Advice to the 22-year old guy. You need a dental deep-cleaning. I can see severe gingivitis and plaque buildup. Forget about gold/silver for now. No offense intended.
It's been a bit old friend. Great to see Tim and his young stackers visiting with you. I wonder at how much I would have in my stack/collection if I started seriously when I was 22 ? Aside from being almost -40 it's a beauty day brightened up with a visit here. Take care all.
the best time for me when i covid started took risk going to value villages, thrift stores nobody was there so i bought sterling silver jewelry now i have thousand's necklaces silver ring,s i don,t know if that is still worth something but i,m happy to what i got name like tiffany cartier. all gold necklaces were cheap.
Tim is such a wonderful, patient teacher and mentor! I'm sure he's explained a lot of that stuff 1000x before, but he never talks down to new customers and always does his best to educate them, feel welcomed and to build loyal returning customers. I'm really envious of his customers and wish I was closer (I'm in California). God love you, Tim!!
You're pretty okay yourself, Yankee!
A little more history on the American Eagles. A little 1 man mint in Darby Mt was making gold eagles and silver eagles. The story from locals go that the US government basically sued him out of business so they could have the Eagle name. The mint was called the Whitley mint. A 1/10th gold Whitley mint eagle just sold locally on an online auction for $1187 with buys premium!
That kid is adorable and smart❤️❤️
Had student loan and mortgage to pay off at 22

First gold. Cool.

Regarding 12:01, actually it was in 1979 that the Canadian Gold Maple Coins in one troy ounce size first came out. In 1982, the one tenth troy ounce and one quarter troy ounce sizes were introduced. In 1986, the one half troy ounce size was introduced. In 1993, the 1/20th troy ounce size was introduced. In 1994, the 1/15th size was introduced. In 2014, the one gram size was introduced.
Awhile back I bought a few gold Ducats. Very interesting fractional gold.

So nice to see someone young that knows about money !
I keep trying to get my son into stacking silver and gold but instead he insists on collecting vintage sport bikes. He has about a dozen (Hayabusa, GSX-R’s, ZX10’s, V Max, Katana 1100 and others I can’t think of at the moment. I guess that’s not bad as these are in excellent shape and also increase in value. I’d still like to see him get some gold and silver.
Excellent savings account. I too stopped buying stupid stuff. I refuse to sell at a loss, so I'll likely have it til I'm dead.
There's always a collateral loan, having to never sell my stack. Not talking about a pawn shop...
Yes, but with a collateral loan, don't you have to hand over the collateral until the loan is repaid?
Something about holding it vs. owning it?
@edb3877 it's only an option IF I NEED to. Only recently started looking into it. And really my stack isn't overly large enough yet.
Believe me, I'd rather hold it as insurance. My income is quite sufficient even with inflation.
Yeah the boys are back...missed your videos...love from Australia xx
only 22 and already been stacking a year. Thats awesome
I like the sticker you have on your wall behind you Tim...
That young man has restored my hope for the youth of this country.
The US Mint should make fractional gold Buffalo coins, like they do with the gold Eagles.
Yes, they would sell a lot if .9999. They did mint fractionals for 1 year (2008) but only through the mint iirc
I can remember when I bought my first gold coin. It was a 1853 $1 gold coin in 2011 for $150.00. I can only imagine what it costs now. Then after a co-worker at my job. told me about this coin shop in our town. I immediately starting going there and buying gold and silver. I now have 12 gold coins ( pre - 33 ). two gold coins I wear as rings. a 1813 Napoleon coin and some one 1 gram bars of gold.
my most recent purchase was 3.4 grams of gold and as I was leaving the coin shop. I overhead my coin dealer say to another customer. and I quote :
* there goes one of our biggest spenders *. I didn't know I was such a big spender.
Very nice! First gold 😁
lol I was in the shop the other day but i didnt show off my 1923 coin around my neck lol. I had it on though
That young man is on the right track. Hope he has the time to get well established.
Super cool seeing people even if they aren’t huge into the videos, that are realizing the dollar sucks, the stock market is a racket. Gold and silver make a great savings plan that the banks can’t steal from you
I wish when I was 22 I can have the thought like this young man! Anyway friends, it's not too late, let's all get start from today to stack
