Midwest Monstaz thank you so much for taking the time to reply in such detail. I spent 1.5hrs this morning in the firing range working on Sultin's training drill. I still can't do it. I think of myself as a above average player but no where near the Preds. I made diamond, but only because i had a solid squad and we grinded platinum in one day. I sometimes destroy kids in my sbmm but can definitely see the difference when i drop with anyone who has a 20 kill badge or 4k badge. It's night and day. We still win but no where near as much. I will continue to put the time in and develop my skill since it never came naturally like it does for some lol.
Standing still on console is going to be a little harder than PC. When moving on console Aim Assist gives you sticky aim and there a sweet spot in aim assists distance as well in all games. On some games at the perfect distance you don’t even have to touch the thumb stick and it will lock on due to kick+aim assist except you have to snap onto opponents yourself. On PC emptying a mag while standing still is easier because you have much better recoil control of you have practiced smooth vertical movements and snapping on target is largely hand eye coordination.
Your videos helped me SO MUCH! I train everyday in the firing range using the drills you teached on "How To Improve Your Aim" And other videos. This one is not different,I'm gonna start using this drill right away. I did a squad wipe on ranked today thanks to you!

Should I change my right stick to crouch? Because I can’t control the recoil of my gun while strafing at the same time when I take my finger off the stick

Cheers dude , just started playing season 8 , my 11 year old son has also moved on from fortnight , this really helped , I keep getting shredded close range so went out to learn and this was just what I needed
For the strafing course you can adjust the difficulty (make it easier) by doing a run with a purple mag, then a blue, then grey, then none. This is for all the bot aim people like myself. Although I’ll admit when I did this first I didn’t use a sight so I’ll see how much of an impact that makes. Also for resetting the dummy (after a failed 1 clip) I’d use a longbow so you aren’t constantly reloading the alternator. Just things I noticed when I did the course
CaliforniaHP doing this course did help my aim but I’d also vary each gun as well to try and work on some of the harder to use (havoc in season 4 is actually amazing, same for single fire hemlock with a three times sight)
