Getting back into learning movement after 6 months of not playing, just got down the super glide from your other tutorial. Just wondering for the tap strafe my old cfg file has mwheel up as jump and w and I have scroll down as jump. So I seem to use both seamlessly, should I leave my mwheel up as jump and w or just as w?
Personally, Scroll up = W and Scroll down = jump is perfect for me. I don't use configs for any movement tech. But it's all up to personal preference! I hope this helps!
I used to jump with spacebar, it is possible to learn any tech movement apex with spacebar, cause i think no one use space bar when make tutorial tech videos, im learning to change my jump with scroll down but its feel so hard, can i just use spacebar for tech movement, how to do it? and whats different? I just don't get tap strafing. This video is one of the most helpful but I still struggle to see if I actually achieved a tap strafe. Often when I think I did, I can actually recreate it by doing a normal slide jump.
Practice, practice practice! It takes a while to get it right and takes much longer to master! Try to scroll slower, it's a common mistake to quickly scroll upwards! Hope this helps! Welcome to the Channel!

Hi when u slide do use ctr or c ? And jump use space or scroll wheel down ?
Nobody explains that when you use scroll wheel during the tap strafe that it should be a slow and smooth scroll. That helped me so much, thanks!

MUST i bind jump to scroll wheel down? i use space to jump and seem to tap strafe fine with only my W key binded to scroll wheel up

1) Slide jump

This is what happens when devs have to work around controller limitations in FPS games, movement turns to basic AF trash like this...
