Rose & Crown. I've never eaten inside. I've only had take away pints, and the fish n chips outside window, which I think are AMAZING! Would love to see what they offer inside before we're back in June. Oh and Via Napoli.. I'm a hater.
You’re eating neapolitan style pizzas which are supposed to be floppy… I was just like you way back in the day. What you want and like are NY style pizzas which have a crispy bottom crust.
It was a 1 and done for us. We ordered that jumbo pizza for 4 of us(2 kids at the time) it was not only floppy, to us it was raw dough. It was way overpriced and we ended up getting burgers after because we were starving after since we couldn't eat a lot of the center
Hi Kristen - I think you probably prefer Romana-style pizzas, which are thin and crispy throughout (so do I!) This is a Neapolitan-style pizza which is supposed to be soft in the middle with a thicker crust, so it's just a style/preference thing I think 🙂
its funny because the last time i ate at via napoli with the family was in 2016,and my pizza was flobberdobber,i kept picking it up and it was flopping on the plate, I told the waiter and the pizza was comped, i never complain and i wasn't complaining, he asked if the food was ok and i said not really, it seems like not much has changed.
Hi fellow new jersey girl here. Pro tip for reheating pizza to get a crisp crust is a hot frying pan. Couple minutes with lid off, then lid on to warm the cheese 🧀 🍕 🍕
Thank you for saying the meter pizzas are terrible! You should only get the rounds here. They don’t cook the same, I’ve tried to convince people of this for years 😂
We absolutely loved Via Napoli on our last trip. We got the meat feast metro pizza, I had a pitcher of beer and my wife had a couple of the cocktails. We will go again next year. We’ll get that pizza again with the chicken Parmesan. $60 does sound insane for a pizza, but the fact it feeds 3 adults, that’s a cheap meal in Disney terms.
So here is a thought. I wonder if you don’t care for Via Napoli since you are from NJ, and you can get better cannolis and pizza back home. I am from NC and not care for Polite Pig and Homecoming! I can get better bbq and southern food here in NC! Just a thought.
I lived in Milan, Italy for a year. The pizza is supposed to be that thin and floppy. You are supposed to eat it with a fork. Italian pizza is not New York pizza. Stop expecting it to be.
Exactly... I've been to Naples and had real pizza... NY, Chicago... just doesn't compare anymore... I always get thin crust and fresh basil when I do homemade now. I'm hoping Via Napoli reminds me of Naples.
We used to love the pizza at the boardwalk pizza window next to spoodles❤❤❤❤ was the best! Is it still there?I love NY style.pizza...never had via Napoli but friend who has a Napoli in Vegas said their garlic pizza and stromboli was fab?! Can't wait to try pizza from.animal.kingdom place you said was the best!🎉
I love the flavor of their pizza but I do agree with you Kristen , it is too soggy. Neapolitan is supposed to be soft. I like the crispy jersey pizza better 😋😋
Kristen, I'm from Rahway and I know the better pizza is in NJ, so what was your favorite pizza in NJ? Have you tried Tony's in Rahway? I do like Via Napoli. They used to have the best veggie lasagna a few years back.
I had heard such great things about Via Napoli before I went to WDW. When we ate there I thought it was way overrated!!!! I have had much better pizza. Was really disappointed. Good to know I could order it more well done.
We went once and that was it. The food wasn’t great, they gave my husband a gluten meal and he was extremely sick, then they guy us the largest pizza when we ordered a small and then charged us. It was $170 for two pizzas and “gluten free” pasta and two teas. We have never went back and never plan to haha
As a fellow Jersey girl, i've eaten at Via Napoli once, and I have to say It hit!! LOL BUT it was also August and I was just thrilled to sit down inside for a few minutes 😅 AND Im also a sucker for the sausage crumbles instead of slices 🤣🤣 Now I want to try the one you got, that looks so good!
Thank you for doing this review. I have been wanting to hear what you think because I know you’ll always be honest. I think Via Napoli will be a pass for me. There is so much awesome Italian food where I’m from that I know I would be disappointed at Via Napoli. I would like to see you eat at Le Cellier. Thank you Kristen!
We ate at Via Napoli a couple of years ago. Never again. We ordered and had to wait over 30 minutes for the pizza and then it was soggy on the bottm crust and was so thin I thought it was notebook paper. We weren't happy at all. We got a walk up with no reservation and had to wait about 30 minutes for the table, then the other 30 minutes after ordering. We ate it because we were so hungry and hadn't eaten in several hours. I told our server how unhappy we were, and he said since we had to wait at least 30 minutes for the pizza that it was on the house. That was their policy a couple of years ago. Not sure about today. It was a $40 + meal and was no charge. I did give the server a good tip for taking care of the bill. Would I ever eat there again? Maybe but I will NOT get the pizza. I would try a pasta dish if I do.
You can get a good cannoli in Florida. My mother makes the best. She only makes them for Christmas. I'll have to invite you for Christmas Eve. Love your channel. Been watching for a while and just remembered to subscribe. I know., shame on me. ❤
Kristin you need a Bovellas cannoli! I just ordered my son’s cake with the filling and it is the best! I love Disney but they don’t do the best Italian.
I despise anise extract! I bet they put that in the cannoli cream! I’m glad you did this review because it seems so 🤑 for pizza. But I’ve always been curious on the hype myself!
Via napoli is are favorite pizza to get on Disney property. However the best pizza as a general hole would be a place called Giordanos. Its also crispy not soggy.
You would be so disappointed if you went to Naples, I call it watery pizza and it is the best!! I cried when I first had it at Via Napoli, took me right back to that trip!
I agree Via Napoli is over rated. Was just there last week, and although I liked the crust, the pizzas we ordered did not have much flavor and the service was very slow. If I go back, I would definitely try the one you ordered! Thank you for your honest review :)
From NJ too and not so sure your idea of "grabbin a slice" is authentic Italy, that is def Tri-state area. Also disagree with a lot of your pizza takes too not sure what you were eating in NJ with the "crispy crust", but I do love how honest you are! 🤝
I agree with other commenters that Neapolitan style pizza is soft in the middle! So maybe it's just not your style of pizza and that's okay! Personally I honestly never give much thought to the crust, it's all about how it tastes to me. I love this place, it's always on my list!
I normally agree with most of your feedback but I think the pizza at Via Napoli is fantastic, especially if you like Neapolitan style pizza. The pizza is not going to have a crunchy crust but rather a soft airy crust like what you get at Via Napoli. I recommend going to another pizza place that makes Neapolitan style pizza and compare that pizza with what is at Via Napoli. Also, I think you’re trying to eat a Neapolitan style pizza like a New York style pizza, the proper way to eat a Neapolitan style pizza is to roll the pizza from the crust to over the end.
Yes, I've been there a handful of times over the years. Via Napoli is just okay. I like it, but don't love it as a NJ Italian. And the like part is because it's in Epcot. If it was just a random restaurant, it would be a one and done.
This is probably a total unpopular opinion, I love pizza, with all my heart, and I do really enjoy and love the pizza from The Art of Animation Resort 😜. This year I want to eat at Via Napoli to try their pizza. 🥰
My husband hates Via Napoli. Truly. When it cost $100 for 2 pizzas and 5 cheese sticks he almost lost it…and this was BEFORE C-vid. I can’t get him to try it again either.
This is the review I was waiting for. As always, thank you for your honesty. We have time for one world showcase restaurant on an upcoming trip, and I think we will go with Shiki Sai instead.
Fellow hater, I agree with you 100%, last time and was the final time I would go there the sauce and cheese slid right off when I picked it up to eat it
The majority of people order pizza in Via Napoli and if they were able to order pizza out at the window for a lot less, that would drastically reduce the amount of money Via Napoli makes. That’s why it has limited days of operation.
The pizza they serve in the window is completely different and I don't think it would affect Via Napoli at all. It is probably the most popular restaurant in Epcot after Space 220. If anything having that window open brings way more people into the back of the pavilion & makes them even more $$$
I don't hate Via Napoli. I don't like Via Napoli. Nothing I've had there has had any flavor. Just bland. Also, as been stated it's dumb expensive. But it's Disney so you can't complain. Best pizza on property is at Terralina at Disney Springs by far.
Via Napoli pizza is way overpriced! And Neapolitan pizza is supposed to be eaten with a knife and fork, not with your hands. Best pizza in WDW is at the Artist’s Pallet at Saratoga Springs.
@wrightdownmainstreet Business probably hasn't been the same since my dad passed. Pretty sure he alone kept them in business for at 40 years lol. In all seriousness, that's sad. They were iconic.
I know people have preferences, but you have to take into account the type of pizza you're eating...Neapolitan isn't supposed to be crispy. Via Napoli is loved due to how authentic it is (well as close as you can get) to Naples, Italy. You wanting it to be your preference just doesn't make any sense. You can say Neapolitan isn't your preference but to wish it was something it shouldn't be seems odd. Still love your videos, no hate. Just a pointer.
Honestly felt like almost everything food was overrated at Disney....all the bloggers and pictures make it look like a dream....prices make it so overrated....but I love watching you spend your money and telling me about it so....🤷🏻♂️...what do I know?😂😂😂😂
Reply to this with where I should eat in the World Showcase next!
Rose & Crown. I've never eaten inside. I've only had take away pints, and the fish n chips outside window, which I think are AMAZING! Would love to see what they offer inside before we're back in June.
Oh and Via Napoli.. I'm a hater.
Le Cellier.
In the Canada bathrooms!
Tutto Italia please!!!
Try chefs de France!!
Neapolitan style pizza is not supposed to be crispy is the center, which is why it’s like that 👍
Teppan edo or the character breakfast at beach club resort
It's Neapolitan style pizza, it's a soft middle. Not crispy like other regions of Italy.
Pizza isn't supposed to be a soggy, watery mess regardless of style.
@@jtimko2196 its not watery here
You’re eating neapolitan style pizzas which are supposed to be floppy… I was just like you way back in the day. What you want and like are NY style pizzas which have a crispy bottom crust.

Love your videos! Have you recently reviewed Tutto Italia in Italy at Epcot?
We have always had good experience here and love it, especially since we moved to Florida where most pizza is disappointing compared to NY and NJ!
My family loves Via Napoli! It’s a must do! My grandson’s favorite since he was a baby and they brought him their fruit cocktail!
Hi Kristen - I think you probably prefer Romana-style pizzas, which are thin and crispy throughout (so do I!) This is a Neapolitan-style pizza which is supposed to be soft in the middle with a thicker crust, so it's just a style/preference thing I think 🙂
That is Neapolitan pizza you like Romano pizza
Omg thank you!! I needed this review before my trip in June ❤
its funny because the last time i ate at via napoli with the family was in 2016,and my pizza was flobberdobber,i kept picking it up and it was flopping on the plate, I told the waiter and the pizza was comped, i never complain and i wasn't complaining, he asked if the food was ok and i said not really, it seems like not much has changed.
The piza is suppose to be soft in the middle. Love the pizza.
Hi fellow new jersey girl here. Pro tip for reheating pizza to get a crisp crust is a hot frying pan. Couple minutes with lid off, then lid on to warm the cheese 🧀 🍕 🍕
Was this pizza better or worse than that McDonald’s pizza that was fire?
How about Paddledish? Have you eaten there?
We family and I love via Napoli. The pizza is amazing. We always order the margarita pizza.
You're dining with Nate! HI NATE!! 👋
I feel like we got a walk-up pizza for my youngest years ago, it may have been during a food festival though.
Thank you for saying the meter pizzas are terrible! You should only get the rounds here. They don’t cook the same, I’ve tried to convince people of this for years 😂
I haven't been to Disney in years, and I'm not very interested in food, but for some undefinable reason, I enjoy your videos.
So fun to watch your videos
The pizza looked good, but I like the crust crispier too! So how did it taste after the air fryer!?!

Hi Kristen - can you review Be Our Guest? Also Tusker House - I think you might have done that one I’ll check through your vids 😊
She is allowed to have a preference
I prefer Detroit pizza even after living in Italy 2 years for school. Everyone’s different.
@ she is but can’t expect Jersey pizza at an Italian restaurant where they serve close to true Italian pizza. Jersey pizza is not Italian pizza.
We used to love the pizza at the boardwalk pizza window next to spoodles❤❤❤❤ was the best! Is it still there?I love NY style.pizza...never had via Napoli but friend who has a Napoli in Vegas said their garlic pizza and stromboli was fab?! Love your videos, Kristen! I would love to see you at Akershus. I am curious about their new menu.
I'll try to hit it up soon. I need my character dining buddy/brother for that one
Akershus - try this restaurant but take Ryan as it’s princess characters x
I vote for Spice Road Table next, it’s one of our favorite places to eat in Epcot.
I love the flavor of their pizza but I do agree with you Kristen , it is too soggy. Neapolitan is supposed to be soft. I like the crispy jersey pizza better 😋😋
I have a difficult time finding a good pizza here in Florida.
Kristin, the reason the center is floppy is because the crust is too thin. If they kept it a little thicker, it wouldn't droop when picking it up.
We went once and that was it. The food wasn’t great, they gave my husband a gluten meal and he was extremely sick, then they guy us the largest pizza when we ordered a small and then charged us. There is so much awesome Italian food where I’m from that I know I would be disappointed at Via Napoli. I would like to see you eat at Le Cellier. Thank you Kristen!
In NJ we love to fold our zah with a crispy crust. Doughy & soggy pizza goes in the trash!
$12 for 1 cannoli is outrageous in my opinion.
Definitely Le Cellier Please, I want to go in October ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How about rose and crown or chef de france
If you're in St Pete / Tampa check out Mazzaro's for cannolis!
Please go to The Rose and Crown! 🤗🇬🇧
We ate at Via Napoli a couple of years ago. Never again. Bovellas is the best! The one in Westfield NJ right? We used to get them every Christmas. I just looked them up & they actually ship
I despise anise extract! I bet they put that in the cannoli cream! I’m glad you did this review because it seems so 🤑 for pizza. But I’ve always been curious on the hype myself!

VIA NAPOLI LOVERRRR!!! My fave place!!! Ya gotta get the carciofi pizza, all the time A+
I had lunch there last month. Soggy pizza.
Was disappointed.
I agree Via Napoli is over rated. Was just there last week, and although I liked the crust, the pizzas we ordered did not have much flavor and the service was very slow. If I go back, I would definitely try the one you ordered! Thank you for your honest review :)
I have never been inside Via Napoli, it looks delicious though. I have been to the pizza window there years ago, it was good pizza.
What about POP pizza?
Fresco Cucina is the best! Love going there for fresh Italian food. Everything there is amazing.
Would love to see a Boma or Morimoto review!
if your not using ricotta impastata for the cannoli cream its not right, canolis are simple but so easy to get wrong
Maybe the cannoli had a dash of Sambuca. That would be the licorice --or a drop of anise extract in the cream.
Next try le cellier steakhouse!!
The pizza is different at the window
I LOVE the pizza window and RUN when I see it open!
Seeing if the pizza window is open is like playing the lottery 😂
Rose & Crown ---Love that place!

Coral reef! 🪸
Yum

$12 for ONE cannoli?!
We have never ate here.🤔 We have ate at the window but didn't like it👇 Thanks for sharing 🤗
same here. maybe it's an acquired taste.
KRISTIN! I was at Epcot Tuesday I was hoping I ran into you! When were you at Epcot?
You have to understand, if you haven’t had a NY or Jersey pizza, you just don’t know. I’m from Jersey, and nothing compares.
Pizza in that style is always that way, you’ll never get the American style pizza you want from a real Italian Napoli wood oven pizza and dough.
Try asking for your pizza well done.I'm from New York and that's what I always did
This is the review I was waiting for. As always, thank you for your honesty. We have time for one world showcase restaurant on an upcoming trip, and I think we will go with Shiki Sai instead.
yorkshire fish! tell us if its back to good fish or crap fish!
Yes, it’s pricey, but the pizza was really good.
Fellow hater, I agree with you 100%, last time and was the final time I would go there the sauce and cheese slid right off when I picked it up to eat it
🧡🧡
That pizza won’t be crispy I haven’t really had a pizza in Italy wood fired pizza crispy!! I still love it so much I love the taste of the dough!!
I agree with the canola- it is overly sweet.
Why do t you do a food review of McDonald’s?
NY style pizza is made with Gold Medal All Trumps brominated flour for that no flop crust... Neopolitan is a Caputo flour for the higher temp oven
Love Via Napoli but they got rid of my favorite pasta meal after the pandemic.
The majority of people order pizza in Via Napoli and if they were able to order pizza out at the window for a lot less, that would drastically reduce the amount of money Via Napoli makes. That’s why it has limited days of operation.

You and Phoebe love u guys pizza window open please loo
Via Napoli is the best pizza I ever had they are great
Vaccaros again for the win!!!!
Vaccaros RIP they closed last weekend
@wrightdownmainstreet Business probably hasn't been the same since my dad passed. Pretty sure he alone kept them in business for at 40 years lol. In all seriousness, that's sad. They were iconic.

Tell them to put the pizza in longer
I've done that in the past & it has never helped 😅
Apparently I’m in the minority here, but that pizza didn’t look done. 🤷🏼♀️
Honestly felt like almost everything food was overrated at Disney....all the bloggers and pictures make it look like a dream....prices make it so overrated....but I love watching you spend your money and telling me about it so....🤷🏻♂️...what do I know?😂😂😂😂
I’m not a fan of the pizza there either 😢
