Helpful video. I bought LR flaps, and as you said, the bolts were too short. Rears were very hard to fit as it is difficult to align drilled holes. After two days fitted rears. The front flaps have a changed profile, and a different approach needed and require a vertical bolt insert.
Spot on video and very helpful with straight talking, just what we want.

Great to have the videos back lad, would defo love to see the water pump and timing belt change on an evoque. Not sure when mine was last done and if your vidoe goes into as much detail as the door locks ill be doing my own no bother - dirishfella
No problem. I am sure I will have one coming in soon. They are the same as the Freelander 2 so it might be on that but either way its the same.

great vid. but the first two mods are the first things i'll remove on any range rover evoque. i'm really looking to buy one in hse dynamic, silver 20 inch wheels, black roof for the wife.
Like the look of the spoiler! Bit squeaky bum time putting that on though! An additional cheap fix which would definitely have worked is to have changed the Range Rover lettering to black IMO. Great video.
Yes I think thats next as they are starting to fade. Either go black or some new chrome decals.
I think if you’d switched the chrome RANGE ROVER badges front and back for black it would look even better. Good video though.

I am a little mixed about the black badges. All depends on if the front and rear splitters have been sprayed. If they are all black then deffo black badges but if they are silver I prefer the bages to be chrome (kinda breaks it up a bit).

How about radio upgrade. We don’t have nav on our 2012 Range Rover.

hello, I live in Belgium, I have owned the evoque L551 P160 for the first time in my life, it has been about 1.5 years, I am satisfied, its quality is indisputable, it is a great vehicle, I am converting it to Black Edition, a front grille is left, black room available in England, if I find it suitable, I would like to honor it and wear it my car will be great with white and black, it adds a different value to the car
Good video. Mixed responses. All comes down to taste. I liked the addition of the mud flap trim. Do you recommend a make. Genuine or aftermarket l am located in Adelaide hills South 🇦🇺

hey mate, i have a 2014 Evoque diesel and when the car changes gears on acceleration i hear a slight whining noise from the front LHS, it sounds like a fast winding sound that winds down and disappears until you hit the accelerated and then it changes up gear again.
They all make a slight wining noise in the lower gears but its quite faint. If you arnt having any problems secetion wise they just mo itor it for now. A gearbox oil change wouldnt go a miss either just to be on the safe side.
@@lifes.projects hey mate, thanks for replying. Yeah it's a small whinging noise and I do see a slight leak on the gearbox around the side plate, so going to get a new seal and change the oil to be safe.
Gear shifts can be at times jerky.
@@MrGaZZaDaG ah right yes 100% change the oil. There is no oil filter so the oil gets contaminated and causes jerky changes.

3 easy mods to make it look better? That spoiler has ruined the look. Change all the silver badges to black £10 side steps £130 make that model look a million times better
Sorry. Not a fan of the full black badges. Think there is too much black unless the body it grey then I would agree.. I like side steps on Fl2 but not Dynamic Evoques. Prestige and Pure techs maybe.
Each to their own really.
