I live two minutes from Budleigh Salterton Beach so I thought I'd give it a bash! since then, I have caught 30+ sea bass and watched every one of your videos from start to finish while I edit weddings. I may not have followed you from the start but I have watched you both grow into the men you are in the new videos and you should be super proud!. Please don't try and be like the other fishing channels and knock out a rubbish video every day. Your production value is worth the wait. Once the notification pops up I know I'm in for a treat! There is a Profound Beauty about Watching Fishing. If I had a lot of Money I would just go on a fishing world tour. I just watch it every day in my dreams and think what a peaceful life that would be :)

Watching this has gotten me so excited to start fishing again soon after a 2 year break from the sport. I wish I could have continued fishing but life gets in the way sometimes. But now I’m determined to get back on the bank soon and reignite my passion for angling. When I first started watching your videos ( a few months after the ‘Quest for a 20’ had ended. Nearly 7 years ago but feels like just a couple of months) You two were the driving force behind my passion towards the sport. I learned pretty much everything I know about angling from you two. It was so good to people close to my age (I’m slightly younger) who also shared the same passion that I do. It’s been a pleasure to watch you two grow and mature whilst still holding true to your original values. Fish the dropping tide for bass as well, especially near a river entering a bay. The bass will stack up along the beach to ambush bait hugging the shore to avoid predators. Great video guys!!

The Wisconsin River has enormous carp! A bighead carp was just caught in 2022, which weighed 67 pounds and broke the Wisconsin state record. The common carp in the Wisconsin River can get up 50 pounds. Lake Wisconsin is connected to the river, and 30- 40 pounders are common in there. There's another good place in Wisconsin, well there's many, for carp called the Petenwell Flowage. It holds 60-70 pound Buffalo carp. The record was caught there in 2013, and it weighed 76 pounds. If you ever come through Wisconsin again, I can put you on some enormous carp! Cheers, brother!

epic stuff indeed, that is some beeg fish! im not a fisherman i just fish sometimes to survive dont know anbout fishing but i know like everything about nature learned how to catch just by observing the fish, you got pretty much the right mentality
