- Such a cool little van! If I had a small business, I'd definitely have one of these over the larger alternatives. Well done, Ford!

That door chime is awsome

That door chime!
Woah, deja vu with the headlights and the hazards. But, great review! Keep up the good work!
Nice video! Thanks for making it. I lost my cargo van recently in a T-boned accident. So I've been looking at these on-line. I go to pick mine up on Thursday this week. This video further convinced me I'm making the right business decision. I entered this model on one of those fuel websites and with my regular business route I drive each night I'll be saving about $76/month in fuel alone coming down to this engine from a chevy astro cargo v-6 engine...but with the same room! Great video post!
Hey Heli PadUSA how's the transit working out for you?
thanks for the nice video !
For good reason, too! I think Ford has a great thing going with these.
Those vans are pretty nice! A lot of companies are using them.
Oh dang... I forgot to edit that out... My bad! And thanks for the kind words!
This dosnt get double the fuel econmy of a fullsized van. The fuel econmy is only a little better
Where did you get your outro song from? And what is it called? I've heard it before but i cant remember it....
I just bought one of these and when i was putting my hands up above the headliner shelf a spider the size of spider man came flying out at me!!
Those hubcaps really bring out the rat appearance
Actually the road noise is pronounced as a vehicle with no interior would be.
I don't think it's an actual song. It came from my iMovie iLife Sound Effects file.
The shifters design is similar/identical to the SN95/99 Mustang automatic’s shifter
Measurements in the back ?
I prefer the NV200, but still a cool van!
2010? The Connect was introduced in 2002
In U.S. it was introduced in 2010
Do you like cargo vans
It sound like a CNG inline 4 liter engine

You're welcome
UK spec is quite different 👍
Ok
They're not bad cars at all! I think Chrysler still has a ways to go before I would buy one, but they're definitely good cars!
Its been around since 2003.
I would treat it like my car
This is no where near as big as an econoline . It's not even as big as an Astro. It can't haul 4x8 foot sheet goods. this is something that the aged grand caravan CAN do.
Have a diesel one crap brakes timing belt twice
Too bad it's not diesel. As usual europe gets the better models.
why does it back fire lol. who tuned their van 💀💀
Hahahaha it's not so bad.
this was painful.
wheres your review sumofl? reply with link
I disagree with pretty much everything that as said here. It doesn't nearly has the cargo space of an econoline, it's like half, at best. A Dodge Caravan has more cargo space. It doesn't look too bad when empty, but put some shelves and stuff in there and you'll realize it's pretty cramped. Ride isn't smooth at all, motor is very loud and not powerful at all. It needs to go high RPM to reach moderate speeds such as 50Kmph. It struggles to go uphill. But again, you're driving the truck empty... The transmission doesn't shift smooth, that gotta be the biggest joke. It's often jerky and when going uphill it can't decide whether it wants to go lower gear with higher RPM, or higher gear with lower RPM. And if you live in area where you get snow, stay the hell away from that truck. It has literally no traction, because it's a front wheel drive with virtually no weight at the front. Take turns very slowly and carefully. The traction control kicks in easily and you CAN'T turn it off, so if you're stuck in the snow (which it really don't need any more than couple inches to get stuck), then you're SOL, the wheels just won't spin at all. Also, be prepared to get that thing fixed every 2 months. The cooling system seems to always have problems. I've been driving this as a home dispatch truck for about 6 months(and been driving several of them for a year before that) and it's currently in repair... for the 5th time already. Overheating. AGAIN. Third time I have to leave it for repair or the same problem. Now I have a loner one... which has the check engine light. lol, no surprise here. Getting tired to moving my stuff from a truck to another.
*It is a February of 2024. Just before Christmas Day on 23rd of December of 2023, I have purchased 2011 FORD Transit Connect XLT as a 5 passenger + cargo van) with its original 126 000 km on it !!!! I am so happy for this purchase, because this particular European designed model of the FORD, was the car of my dreams, which I couldn't afford for a long period of time !!!! Just imagine, how happy I am right now !!!!*
Previously, I was originally driving my 2002 SUZUKI Esteem Station Wagon ... and was so happy of it - until he died from undercarriage rust and I lost rear wheel on the right turn at 20 km/h.
*Unfortunately for the FORD Motor Company .... their NEW models of the same name vehicle, made after 2014 .... they are UGLY and they are NOT the same, nice and simple as this one !!!! I will never buy FORD Transit Connect XLT made after 2014 !!!!*
