I've owned my 2012 for three years and it is FANTASTIC! 140hp is more than enough power. I've towed cars hundreds of miles with it and it pulls well in and out of highway traffic. 30mpg. What's not to like?
@@04dram04 I towed a TR-6 from VA to NC and also a Chevette from Akron, Ohio to Winston-Salem, NC. No problems with either. From Ohio to NC you have to cross the mountains in WV and VA.

The hood release is in the Ford emblem in the front grille. Turn the bottom of the emblem to the side, and it will reveal a place to put the key in. The key serves as the hood release.
Popular vans in Europe these do have bits of the Mk1 Focus and Mk6 Fiesta, in Europe these vans have a 1.8 TDCi unit with around 90HP since diesel is whats needed in a van for the extra torque and economy, even though this one has much more power chances are it would struggle with a full load due to the lower torque and the fuel economy wouldn't be that good compared with the diesel.
all these vans come with glass panels and seats in the back to avoid some cargo tax or some bs and when they get here depending upon what you use it for ford takes hout the back seats and back glass.
This van could really benefit from a four cylinder turbodiesel engine, especially in its cargo van form. It would definitely be more fuel efficient and at the same time a much better hauler. This powerplant is more of a jack of all trades.
I do also agree that this thing could use a better powertrain on it. if I remember correctly, it's a 4 speed transmission. My thinking is that they should have put either a 6 speed 1.6 ecoboost or a 3.7 V6 on it. But that's just me... btw, if anyone is wondering, no I don't own a ford, I own Nissan, but I get to know cars like no other lol
Every time I see one of these I think about the Richmond auto show last year when a bunch of ghetto kids were trying to push one of these over XD they almost did too until security kicked them out!
I think the interior of this car should have been the interior of the new Taurus. The new Taurus to me looks like a cross between a Lexus and an Acura. If not, They should've at least reverted to the 2 spoke used in the 2001 Ford 427 Concept.

So we didnt bid on it. BTW the hood opens with the key. You have to turn off the car to open the hood. Cause you need a key. Seriously, you do a video walk around on a vehicle and you don't know where the hood release is? Do a car you know something about please! I looked at one of these at a dealership and figured out where it was myself.

Don't do it, 0-60 in 12.6 seconds empty. Severely underpowered piece of shit. Standard radio sucks, wicked blind spots, sliding doors don't stay open, center rear view mirror useless since its placed too high, cage won't let you move seat-back so you can't recline/adjust your seat not to mention ugly as fuck design and poor crash ratings. Thats just the first day.

No other Ford in the US has this chime, they do use this chime in British market Focuses, Galaxies, etc.
It seems the hood latch is in back of the ford badge that is in the grill.You put the key in and turn it.You should check that out.

European ones did have a 4 cylinder diesel engine albeit with less power than the 2.0 Zetec in North American models
