Lots of salt 😱I love salt myself but seems a lot in the first jar. The recipe looks good though how did it turn out?
Salt is part of the curing process. I promise you it turned out great not too salty.

Since you didn’t water bath, how do you store these and how long do they last?
Closed airtight in the refrigerator they’ll probably go about three months but usually I make it and I give it away to Family and friends
