Love your videos, you always explain the steps so well I really appreciate that. You’re plants gave lots of peppers 🌶 they grew wonderful for being first time, good Green thumb. Thank you & have a wonderful day
I had no idea that there were other sweet peppers like these. I've learned so much watching your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I really appreciate it. Have a good week. Must be hard to wait to eat them. LOL.
These are brand new this year. They have the flavor of a Habanero without the heat. A very tasty pepper for those of us that can't take the heat anymore. Always fun to try a new item. Thanks for watching.
I'm surprised to have not already tried them. I got some seeds for those here while back to grow next year. I'm glad you had such a good harvest this year, everyone I've talked to said they had a great year too.
We preserved our hot peppers by crushing them in the blender. Then they were stir fried with little olive oil, crushed garlic and small pieces of ginger for about 5 minutes. While frying some salt was also added. Then they were filled in the jar and finally vinegar was put on them just 1/4 of the jar was filled with vinegar. These jars were turned twice a day for next few days to spread the vinegar. I have some of this pickle from last year. These peppers really stay preserved for long time.
Thees are actually not hot peppers. They are a new variety that have the flavor of a habenero without the heat. First year trying them and they are great for those of us that can't tollerate the heat anymore. Thanks for watching.

They look delicious. For the past couple years I have been canning a variety of sweet banana peppers and the likes. Similar recipe, but putting garlic, salt, plus ginger in each jar. They always taste great, but I have a problem keeping the peppers crisp when I process them. How do yours come out? Do they still have a bit of crunch to them?
They are not crunchy. The processing temps soften them. I tried some in the same brine in the fridge and they were crisper but I think the vinegar softens them some. Thanks for watching.
, I like sweet peppers but can not handle the hot ones, even mild does me in sometimes. Do they have any of the heat as the original habaneros? You mentioned putting them in a root cellar if I recall, could a regular cellar work? Mine is an old stone foundation that isn't heated. Sorry for all the questions but your video entice me to try things and then my mind spits out all sorts of questions 😂 Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your videos!
They for the most part had zero heat but all the flavor. Every once in a while one would have a very slight heat but I didn't find many. Any place that is cool and dark is good for storage. Thanks for watching.
Eu acompanho o senhor, gostaria de tirar umas dúvidas. A salmoura, o senhor usa dez copos de vinagre, duas de água, uma colher de sal e uma de açúcar. Quanto tempo a salmoura Fica cozinhando?
Easiest subscribe decision. The amount of explanation given with each step is excellent. Thank you for the quality canning video.

These are my absolute favorite when pickled. To me, they almost taste like a mandarin when you mix the fruitiness of Habanada with the tangy vinegar!
I love them also. Add great flavor to a salad or sandwich. Thanks for watching.

That's a really simple brine recipe for your peppers. Have you tried that same brine for pickles?
No, I have only used the brine for jalapenos. It would not have enough flavor for pickles. Thanks for watching.
