Definitely been waiting for something like this!! Love the size, the simplicity, and especially the cordless factor. So glad I haven’t already purchased a tool like this. You guys were really thoughtful with this design! I’ll be happy to pair this with my trusty Drill A Majig.
So glad you love your Drill-a-majig! Yes, we found it all confusing and thought that there has to be a simpler way! So glad you think it’s as great as we do! 🥰
We are very excited about it - the world of sanding and buffing in particular I found a bit confusing to start with so hopefully this helps to simplify things ☺️
Thanks for the tuto! Could you please share the reference of the respirator mask (not sure what's the correct term sorry) to be used? Thanks in advance!
Yep, look for masks that are used by builders or for sanding. I normally use an N95 or P2 mask like these: www.bunnings.com.au/3m-builders-p2-respirator-3-pack_p0278436
Yes, it can be tricky to avoid those tiny air pockets under your clay that cause those uneven bottoms! The best quick hack I can give you is to do a quick wipe of acetone over the back - be careful though and use it sparingly because the acetone actually eats away at the surface layer of clay, so be very careful use too much, and try a tester piece first. Oh, and wear gloves to save your hands! ☺️
I wish I had seen this video a couple of months ago! Thank you for sharing all your expertise 😊. How long do the felt sanders last? How do I know when to change it? Thank you!
They last ages! I have been using the same ones for months, the only thing I’ve found is sometimes darker colours or reds rub onto them so I need a seperate one for white clay 😊
Oh, I’m sorry! 😢 We feel horrible, like we are letting our European customers down. As soon as we can work a way to make it happen with the new GPSR requirements we will resume again ❤️
@@myclayco oh no, please don't feel bad! you are not letting anybody down. sometimes you have to make the decision that is the best for your business. and sometimes a situation is just how it is and there is simply nothing you can do. if anything, I'm sorry that the GPSR requirements are giving you trouble. and please don't forget, your videos are always so helpful and fun :) you're doing a great job!
Oh, hey, is there any chance of you adding a favourites tool to the website? I have SO MANY cutters I want, and I lose track of them. I don't just want to add them to the cart while I wait for xmas lol
Hey Lovely Ladies So l Received My Goodies But I Was Wondering If You Could Do A Tutorial On The Teapot Set Please l Got It For My Mother In Law For Chrissy Thank You 💕💕💕
Hi Kerry, Oh what a lovely gift! 🥰 Great suggestion, we will add it to our list of tutorials to make! In the meantime feel free to email us if you need any tips when making them ☺️
I have a question regarding the multi-Click rotary tool in this video. I am definitely purchasing one and plan on getting the starter pack with drill bits + polymer clay sanding/buffing heads, but on the order site, I see additional items one might wish to purchase, separately, such as drill bits, sanding bits, etc. Since there are not super detailed descriptions of what exactly is in the starter kit, I don't want to accidentally double-purchase items. So, I am wondering which of the drill bits, sanding/buffer heads shown in the starter pack are repeated in the additional items for purchase. Thank you very much for your help on this. I apologize if there was a link to contact your company on the pirchase that I missed.
Thank you so much for this feedback! What an oversight by us! 🙈 Thanks to your feedback I have just updated the product description so it now says everything that the starter pack includes 😊 It’s 13 pieces in total - the drill bits pack, 2 of each of the sanding heads and 2 of the wool buffing heads ☺️
Thanks for letting me know about the sound - are you able to give me a bit more info of what the issue was that you had? I checked it on my phone, laptop and tv and it seemed ok so I’d love to know so I can fix it for next time 😊
@@myclayco Sound for the voice over is only on the left audio channel, not in stereo. You'll hear it on headphones due to the speaker separation but may not be audible on the devices you listened on due to the poor audio separation.
@@JayJayEssthank you so much for taking the time to let us know - we actually had the same issue happen on another video. Will need to work out why this has happened and get it fixed! Thank you again, really appreciate it! ❤
so i don’t think i’ve ever wanted a hand tool more in my life! 😂🤣😂
Haha I know! It’s so good, I love it so much! 😅🥰
Yes, it’s so handy, much easier than dragging out my Dremel and flex shaft!
Fantastic ideas and explaination
Thank you 🥰
Wonderful demonstration!
Thank you!
Our pleasure! ❤️

Hello. Congratulations for your video. How the wood you have in front of you is called how I can find it too?
Thank you 😊 it’s our Drill-a-majig www.myclayco.com.au/collections/drill-a-majig
uhh, that looks great! Sadly, I'm from Germany, so I can't order it atm, but as soon as you ship to Europe again, I will probably give it a try :D

That is a great idea, we will look into it! Thanks for the suggestion 😊
Is it possible to use an inexpensive and low-power nail drill with a Max RPM 15,000?
I think it would possibly be ok if you just needed to drill holes in polymer clay. For sanding and buffing though you may need a little higher rpm 😊

Whenever I use my white felt head for sanding, the color from the clay rubs off onto it. How do I prevent that from happening?
Yes, this can happen, depending on the colour I find. I mainly find this with red clay so I now have a seperate head for red pieces 😊
@@myclayco So to prevent this from happening I just need to buy more heads? Got it!
Thanks so much for responding! :)
@@TaeKenzie pleasure, glad it helped!
@@myclayco what brand of felt head bits do you use? And is best to use white head bits or dose the color not matter?
Do you ship to Canada?
We normally do but unfortunately all shipments to Canada are currently suspended due to the post strike 😢

Just placed my order 💕
Thank you very much!
Where do I find that drimel tool?
It will be available on our website www.myclayco.com.au this Friday 29th of November 😊
Any idea how much please?😊
They’ll be AU$98 for the rotary tool and drill bits , or AU$110 for the rotary tool, drill bits and sanding/buffing starter pack 😊
The sound on this video isn't the best but tool looks great.
