  • In this video we take you through how to make polymer clay huggie earrings, and also show you how to make your own huggie baking rack. We will also step you through two different ways that you can attach posts to your huggie earrings.
    The products used in this video include:
    - Roller
    - Huggie Hoop Baking Tubes
    - Tissue Blade
    - Scrap Clay (for creating your baking rack)
    - 30mm Circle cutter (or any cutter you'd like to use to create the baking rack)
    - Micro circle cutter tools
    - Huggie Cutters (we used our Rounded Rectangle, Flower Power and Moon Phase huggie cutters)
    - Sculpey Premo Grey Granite
    - Sculpey Souffle Lilac Mist
    - Sculpey Premo Ice Blue Pearl
    - 4mm Earring posts
    - Sculpey oven-bake clay adhesive
    - Loctite Super Glue - Gel Control
    - Ceramic Tile
    All of these products (apart from the ceramic tile and super glue) are available on our website www.myclayco.com.au.

    It's like a candy store, seeing all the clay packages displayed on the racks.

      You’ll have to explain this one to me 🙃 I think frito is a type of chip?

    after you use the glue to attach the post how long do you bake it for?

    • @myclayco
      @myclayco  4 місяці тому

      If you use the clay adhesive to attach the back I just bake it for 30 minutes 😊

    How thick is the clay when u make the earring? Don't want them to break!

    • @myclayco
      @myclayco  4 місяці тому

      Our earrings are normally around 2-3mm, but if you’ve cured your clay correctly it shouldn’t break 😊

      @myclayco thank u. I Bake at 275 for 15 minutes per manufacturer recommend. I appreciate your replies

    • @myclayco
      @myclayco  4 місяці тому

      @@DianaChinchen if you do find them breaking you can leave them in a bit longer - you can't overbake clay if you leave it in longer (unless the temp is too high) :)

    Hi What Are The Silver Metal Tubes Called Please 💕💕

    • @myclayco
      @myclayco  6 місяців тому +2

      We have them on our website as Huggie Baking Tubes, but they are actually originally designed to be cannoli tubes so you may also be able to find them at baking or homeware stores 😊
