I ordered some cutters from you and I can’t wait!! I was wondering how you get separate pieces of clay to stick to each other? For example, a ball of clay on a Christmas tree or a 3D flower on some earrings? Do you bake it together as is or do you put liquid clay between them before baking? Or do you use glue after baking? Thanks so much!!
Oh yay, hope you love them! Thanks so much for your order 🥰 So if you are sticking raw clay onto raw clay you don’t need anything, just press down gently so they kinda smoosh and bond together (if it’s super delicate and you don’t want to press down at all use a clay adhesive, like Sculpey clay adhesive). If it’s raw clay onto baked clay you will need to use clay adhesive between the pieces 😊 hope this helps!
Love your videos, thanks :) My daughter has some 3d printed cutters her Dad printed for her, but they're not cutting very cleanly... we're in the uk, can anyone recommend good cutters please? She can get more printed but I have no idea if it's the printer or the design that would need to be different. Thanks :)
Thank you! 🥰 We are cutter makers and do ship worldwide if it helps ☺️ It may be that the printer file you have has a thick blade (maybe not designed by a clay artist!) or it could be the settings of the printer. I have seen great cutters printed on all sorts of machines so may just need a little fine tuning 😊
Oh wow, how confusing! I would then do the tester method. Get some white clay and bake testers at different temps. Our video on baking explains it a bit more in depth 😊 ua-cam.com/video/ZoWPdtYkdCc/v-deo.htmlsi=mWDMlaJNVNwHmts4

I have 3 oven thermometers , 2 brand new and 2 older ones, and all read differently. How do i know which one is correct?
