Short game, chips up and downhill, lag putting etc.
Green reading
Golf psychology - short game, putting, going low, all that Bob Rotella stuff.
Best drill for Clubface control please paddy
Pitching from 30 to 100 yards.
A legend volunteering his time to help others learn the game. Great golfer and an even better person. Thanks Paddy!
I played with him in a pro-am and asked him how to curve the ball. Basically, he gave me the same lesson as in this video. Very helpful!
He was very gracious giving us tips to improve our game. It was an unforgettable experience. He is a gentleman and a class act.
This is the best online lessons series by a champion. Keep it up Paddy!
that's awesome...it is really nice to meet folks that are down to earth despite maybe having achieved more than others. Really shows a good heart which we are in short supply of it seems these days.
Just pure logic to get instruction from a tour champion. He is the definition of application under pressure.
Paddy I want PUTTING period. Tour putting drills, distance control drills, and basic understanding of greens reading. Getting these insights from you are gold.
Shots from different types of rough - tall and short grass, thick and thin, heather etc plus the basic do’s and don’ts when deciding on shot and club selection. Thanks.
This is where I lose the most strokes.
Genius Paddy. Pure genius.
How does he not have as many subscribers as some youtube golfers? The man has the best instruction videos from a true champion of the game. And his lessons work!
Video for someone who is constantly pulling everything left. Thanks for all the great content Paddy!
He Tells it Plain and Simple!!
U Gotta Love Him 👍
A rare gem on UA-cam. Quality quality content
Just keep them coming paddy . Excellent no nonsense videos with plenty of helpful advice in them is always appreciated. Many thanks.

Paddy's a fantastic coach!
Thank's a lot Paddy, fabulous tuition.
Had the pleasure of having him join us for an after round snack. He’s one of the best golfers I’ve ever met
So So Enjoyable to Listen to a Man Who Tells everything In Simple Explanations In Explaining How things Work and Don’t Work
So Refreshing
Thanks 🙏🏻
Another great video! Thank you
Brilliant. Keep them coming.
Love the lessons Paddy 👍👍👍
Always admired your game even though you are across the pond! Now I have to say thank you! Your channel has been a welcome find and has already helped this hacker get a little bit better. So far I have fixed my grip and improved my chipping. Now I am going to practice these tips to see if I can cure my slice. (typically hit my irons pretty straight but my woods tend to slice more than I would like) You really present things in a much different fashion than I have seen in the past and it is really easy to understand and best of all...it works! Thanks again and please keep putting these videos out.👍🙌
Paddy Harrington always seemed like such a laid back guy.. No shock that his UA-cam tips are 💯
Thanks for the like, champ!!
mr Harrington, your a natural teacher. thank you, loved all your vids
Very practical ,very good..
One of my favourite golfers. I love the lessons. Proving longevity is possible!
Love this guy!
Another great video thanks Padrig.
Thanks for the effort to help us Paddy
Absolutely brilliant clear instruction, thanks Padraig👍
Dang, I love me some Paddy!
Genius, thanks Padraig
All your instruction is top notch! Glad to get pointers from the one of the best, and clears up a lot of the golf voices in my head. Thanks!
great encouragement, very enabling teaching. same method as tiger as well, glad to see this is the way after being taught something else
This is fantastic. So apt. The residue of the exaggerated practice swings left over and bingo.
Pure Gold!!! Thank you so much for this, greetings from Germany
LOVE how you explain it Paddy!!! So simple, no nonsense. 👏👏
I learned to shape shots in in the mid-1980s after reading Golf My Way by Nicklaus. What helped me a lot was his explanation that the cause and effect was a swiping action across the ball tilting the spin axis like and airplane wing \ for fade / for draw. The more you swipe across the back of the ball outside-in our inside-out with face still pointing at the target the more it curves in the air and bounces to right or left when landing. Off the tee you shape shots to control path in air to miss things. Hitting to the green you shape to control where ball goes after landing.
My hang up when learning from a ‘hit it dead straight’ baseline was adjusting stance and face in grip but then subconsciously steering face into dead center of ball + instead of inside of center >+ for draw across ball / for draw and outside + < across \ for fade. Another was twisting to look at the landing target | instead of letting eye come up looking left \ | for fade or right | / for draw.
To teach others how to hit I have them warm up hitting straight forward to target flag on range | then first only change stance to face left and hit 10 or so balls straight left \. until grooving the path, then change the other variable face angle in via grip in 5° increments until ball curves back to target. That programs the reflexive brain to commit to the swing line not looking at the target spot until swing completed.
I call it ‘faith based golf’ joking that if you have faith in your set-up and your swing why do you even need to look? 😂
Something Jack suggested I adopted was to always have a mental image of what the shot would look like as a baseline for comparing what actually happens. That creates a point of reference for making adjustment until visualized shape and actual results match. It makes it easier to remember how to do it the same the next time.
Best ever draw and fade video. So simple and it works!! 👏👏👏
Wow. Makes it sound so much easier then other people
Love it!!
Paddy as a PGA Pro for 20 years, I LOVE your videos and the messages you get across!!! A lot of content on YT etc actually makes Golf far more complicated than it really is - and it makes Golfers worse!! You are the total opposite, great, logical teaching with your usual passion and energy - keep it up.
Paddy I’m sending you positive vibes for the weekend players Championships. You are only 5 behind after Friday’s play, and with the wind anything is possible. I’m backing you all the way. Go get em champ.
Paddy, thank you for doing these videos. You do a wonderful job of taking the “world of teaching swing mechanics” and distilling it down into how to actually play golf. Coming from one of the greatest to ever play, provides insights to us trying to connect the dots between learning what makes a good shot on the range become a good shot under pressure. Again, thank you for essentially giving away your intellectual property behind how you’ve won at the highest level. Fantastic!!
This content is absolute gold , im watching everyone and put it into practice
The bit about hitting off the side slope to practice drawing is phenomenal. You are dead right that my best holes have been a hanging slope
This has simplified the golf swing for me , 👍👏👏👏
Many thanks for the sound advice. Good luck with ths rest of the tournament!
I tried this exercise today at the range. Unbelievable, I had so much control, I nearly cried. One to the left, one to the right. Best tip ever Paddy.
Just found your channel. became a big Paddy fan.
Nice Job Mister ...well done
The videos are great. I struggle with a wood off the fairway, I'd like to see a video on that.
You’re just overthinking it, it’s the same swing.
See vlogs by Michelle Low on fw wood and hybrid
Cracking round today, well done and best of luck. Thanks for the tips, great insight.
Thanks so much for these tips. You cut through all the confusion to make it simple and repeatable for us mortals. I've got a playing partner playing off 37 who is on the range 3 times a week just repeating his poor technique. I've begged him to watch your tips as I'm sure there's a 20 handicapper inside him!
Padraig you’re a great guy, thanks for the video, very helpful
Pure genius 👍🇦🇺⛳️
Excellent paddy👍
Enjoy your lessons! As to your request, seniors are always interested in advice on how to pivot when they are faced with inflexibility issues. Thx. Tom
Love these videos !!
Your credibility is huge! Really like your ability to say what’s going to happen without any possibility of variation! Do this, and that is the result...please keep putting these vlogs out, thanks!
Wow thnks So clear So easy to understand, will try tomorrow...cheers from Sydney Australia
Thanks Padraig your great for doing these vids. Loved your grip advice. It's been five months and I finally am comfortable with it. I'm now starting get more consistent with my ball striking.
I am so encouraged by this. I like that you don’t suggest massive open and close positions. Swing in and out for draw. Out and in for fades.
Fantastic, your chipping tutorial has really helped me
The good old KISS method of golf, Keep It Simple Stupid, too many people trying to make it harder than it is, great advice Padraig as usual.
i am trying to forget all the crap i was told in the past about the golf swing and advice like this makes it easier.
Thanks for alll your wisdom. In Badminton, we use adjustments of the wrist to cut and reverse cut the shuttle. Why not use wrist flexion and extension of the lead wrist to modify side spin? It seems like many golfers have different approaches to playing draws and fades?
Brilliant advice!
Tried the method actually on course, and it worked so well, moreso the fade!! Fantastic tip Paddy
I wear this polo too💚
I love it..
We need your Chipping and picthing tekhnik vid please
Pure Gold. Thank you for producing fantastic instructuction content gained by actually "doing it" at the very highest level possible. Top Man.
I would like to see suggestions for the Senior golfer (60+) if possible. This series of tips by a well established and loved professional golfer has been brilliant and will surely help golfers of all handicaps with their game. Thanks Padraig.
mate...you're sooo good...and funny to boot...thanks
Thank you, Paddy! These videos, coming from a proven expert, are invaluable to us amatures who really want to improve.
Thanks Paddy. I’ve been waiting for your latest video. Please keep them coming.
Great teacher makes it so simple to understand👍🏌🏻♀️any putting drills please
Padraic, what an incredible achievement coming 4th on the monster course that is Kiawah Island. Amazing performance, we are incredibly proud of you back in Northern Ireland.
This is perfect for what I need!.. will definitely practice this on the range this weekend
Absolutely fantastic tip, I will definitely put this into practice.
Hitting fairway woods properly would be a great video (especially the dreaded 3 wood) 😱
Congratulations Padraig on your great performance in the PGA. 😊😊😊
Paddy is the best
Thanks a lot PH.. this is very helpful.
Great Job at the PGA Championship. It was incredible to see you out there and kicking butt! I loved seeing how you put your videos instructions into practice on that brutal course. Job Well Done. I'd love to hear your take on the Ben Hogan 5 Steps. Maybe a short series about how the Hogan Steps tie into your skills/experience. Best, PR
Great advice. In a similar way, waggles during setup, if taken, should waggle in a big way in a direction out to the right. This is because during the setup, the hips are essentially parallel to the target line, while the hips are somewhat to fairly opened during the release and at impact, pointing to the left. If the waggles are along the hip and target lines during setup, the hands may be programmed to also swing along the hip line during the release, which hip lines are pointing to the left during the release, so that the swing will also follow the hip line going out-to-in. Another check point is the angle of the left arm, when it swings down to the horizontal position during the first phase of the downswing. Most PGA Tour pros have the left arm and left hand far away from the target line with the left arm point right of target, when the left arm has swung down to the horizontal position during the downswing. This shows the tour pros have the upper body and shoulders very closed still at that point. A lot of LPGA pros have the left arm about parallel to the target line when the left arm has swung down to the horizontal position, which shows that their upper bodies are not as closed as compared to the PGA pros, but their shoulders are still somewhat closed early in the downswing, but still closed enough to produce draws, and if not draws, producing straight shots.
Great video Padraig, can relate to this video, always played a draw and was told if I wanted to move into elite amateur golf I needed to learn the fade, that was 10 years ago, I'm now stuck with mechanical thoughts and the game has deteriorated. Wish I'd of had this insight back then, thanks Padraig from another Padraig 😉
Genius Paddy rocks
Great tips to use at the range. Being able to hit a fade or draw off the tee is a huge confidence boost, I'm slowly getting there after months of practice on the range but these drills sound great. Had lessons were told to change grip/stance/ball position etc gets very complicated. The path is key I know that now and keeping everything else constant sounds great🤜.
Gonna practice those 100 balls odds an evens over the weekend love that right hip and left hip visual wish me luck minor league golf event monday at the foumtains cc love your passion for the greatest game ever
Thanks you Padraig... dead simple
hoping for a vid on knock down shots Paddy. Love that ur doing these vids btw
Love to see this with the ball flight, I’m sure your launch monitor links to your phone/camera to trace it.
Nick Faldo said, for a fade you should finish with your hands high and with a draw, your hands should finish lower. That thought also helps me with these shots. I think Padraig''s finish is a little higher with his hands on the fade.
Brilliant 👏
i really like the metronome analogy
Padraig I believe the secret of a great golf swing lies in great timing and thats God given. How can we mere mortals improve our timing? Robbie Sprague
This technique really works!! I seem to always have better contact when I draw the ball, however. Any suggestions on how to get better contact while doing the fades?
Interesting take. I have always aimed left or right initially, then turned club face accordingly before taking grip. then take normal swing. I must admit, this feels like it could be more natural, will def give it a go on range
Congratulations Mr. Harrington . The special 2 ball OG putter with plumber neck was working well every time. Could I ask where I can find the same plumber neck 2 ball OG putter?
Next video? When do you decide to bump and run or hit a higher pitch? What is the maximum distance for a bump and run? I find myself often wavering between the two.
Best teachers are still the pros....
