When the average cop spends his day writing tickets, I’ve spoke to many cops and seen many videos of cops also where many have never even drawn there service pistol. It’s not always action like the movies

Wow, 'adopt a complex' concept is a brilliant way for buildings or communities to feel safe and cared about and at the same time a lovely way for officers to get to know the folks in their jurisdiction.

You would never want to do a ride along with Arizona cops. They are so hateful to citizens. They tell citizens there’s a war between citizens and cops.
Good video that pretty much mirrors my 30 yrs on the street. I worked a fairly busy city and got used to a lot of high pressure incidents leaving me able to guide younger officers toward the safest & most peaceful outcome.

Remember you can’t or at least shouldn’t ask for ID Unless there’s a crime. IM NOT TRYING TO BE NEGATIVE BUT it’s embarrassing to me for the cops they ask for a ID if you just walk up on people. For car stops yes. But jerking people around asking for ID with no reason is not right snd it makes you look stupid. Like you don’t know what your doing. The scaffold company I work for has us do 30 mins of working out at the start of the day (we're on the clock, obviously) and it's reduced workplace injuries and strains by a huge number. Our job is physically demanding and at times you're relying on your crew to literally keep you alive so it's always good to know that the guy keeping you from falling to your death is physically fit enough. It's great to see a police department even just having a gym on site. Well trained police are always the nicest to deal with.
@@nillavanilla5405 We used to get a heap of small injuries that could take a couple weeks to heal, so you've got guys off work or not up to 100%. After we bought it in we haven't had a time off injury since. So with the company paying for us to get in a quick workout it's has payed off for them too. Stretching at the very least is so important when you do physical labor. It's about the only thing the office poges got right XD
That's actually pretty unique that in Tustin you guys have police officers that are assigned to a certain apartment complexes or mobile home parks my city doesn't do that yet I know of a couple other cities are close by to me that do but that would really help in a lot of cases you know for crime up here in my city
I love watching these because I got off active duty Army a year ago and I am about to become a police officer and I love seeing what the days generally look like. I know departments work differently and you see different things but its nice to have a general foundation to see.

This is such a good video and example of what police and communities working together can do to improve neighborhoods. CHP never over does it they treat everyone with respect even when arresting them. They don't beat you up or keep their guns pointed at you. Outstanding police work.

I live in Tampa and have a strong desire to join the Tampa Police Department. Unfortunately, it takes five years after arriving in the U.S. to become a citizen, and citizenship is a requirement to join the Tampa Police force.
A cop's car is like a knight's noble steed. Care for it well, and it will aid you in times of trouble. They decked out my local cops with some Audis. Bandits beware!
Tustin PD are great cops. They have been to the skatepark for a handful of situations , always friendly and professional. Keep up the good work guys. It feels so novel having seen CHP pursuits almost exclusively via a news chopper for years then you see a ground level view with that unique CHP siren and other pursuit-related sounds
I absolutely love the city of Tustin...Growing up in Inglewood in the 90s I was lucky enough to go to Tustin high school in 92 for one year the city was so beautiful that till this day I brag about living in the city of Tustin..
many years ago, the place was mostly orange groves lined with miles-long rows of eucalyptus trees to break the strong santana winds. Much of it was owned by the irvine family. Still the name of a major street there, I think.
Well we wanted a more liberal democracy .. so there u have it . A guy can go to a Toyota dealership , threaten the entire staff , walk around the cars as if to intimidate he is going to do something to them , then tell them he will come get them later at their house and do them harm etc. Talk about a gun he supposedly had and disrupted the ambiance of the whole dealership and does not get arrested no even for trespassing!wow … we deserve what we have ..

Used to do framing and we would do 10 minutes of stretching but I think 30 minutes of exercise before work is so smart. It really is beneficial!
