I love your work in Johnny Harris's videos. I hope you can make a video about openstreetmaps. I've seen plenty of UA-camrs using it and I think it's way better than Geolayers. However, I found it really hard to work with.

10:35 I've always struggled with understanding what different blend modes do to the layer and I would keep testing by manually selectting each one untill I find the suitable one.

The shape layer from the vector seems to be very heavy when I try to move it around. Why is it? It's easier for me to move the vector layer itself. Thanks in advance, great video!
I love your tutorials, please make a short video on adding a gradient fill (better yet mask expansion) and how to link it to a specific country shape inside a geolayers comp. No matter what I do, it won't work!

Awesome! This video was so helpful Jason. I'm signing up for Patreon as soon as I can. As you know, I would love to make a 3D video of landscapes in Israel. Are there map sources that could make semi-3D landscapes without current cities on the them? I've used Google Earth Studio, but it shows the current cities. I would love to have mountains, canyons, rifts etc even if it were just an illustration. I can't find, however, any maps except for 3D world map illustrations. The problem with world maps comes when I zoom down to Israel, they pixelate. They look great at 30,000 feet--lots of texture, and shadows in the mountains and valleys. However, once you zoom in you lose that detail. Let us know a way around. In the meantime, I'm signing up for your Patreon account. Thanks again from all of us for your great video tutorials and this one you just shared. I love the look of this one and plan to use it on my current project as I talk about Nazareth.

Here you have found the Iraq map very easily but if anyone wants to work on a region which is not taht much available or say it is combined of part of one country + 2 -3 different countries then how to generate the area map?
Its a good tutorial, however, I can not seem to download the maps properly. It says it is downloaded as a PNG but it is not a PNG.

The map don't match when overlay them, either of them is bigger or smaller
Yeah you have to use scale, position and rotation to get it aligned.
