so true, I get those premium courses that has days worth of content but do not like the shitty $30 or $50 dollar one which doesn't even teach anything. Either invest properly on online education or just stick to youtube.
@@mapal one request if possible. AE is getting really expensive so I’ve been trying to make the switch to Motion 5. I saw that you have a Mac so I was wondering if you could redo this in Motion 5. The camera setting are not the same as AE so I can’t seem to replicate it. If not, still watching all your videos as they provide great inspiration and principals.
Hey Mapal, 1 year ago i bought a course of after effects and i can say your free videos are better than that paid course love from India keep making the videos
If you'd like to have the same grainy effect on the boats without working a lot with various overlays, you may try to use Noise HLS Auto , mode : grain + camera lens blur applied to each particular object, with proper levels correction you'll have quite a decent result.
bro thanks a lot. your single handed videos are far better than the shitty paid course. I recently made a video on my channel and I learned all from you and some other guys.
Has anyone noticed that you will save your 100$ you pay for some weird online courses just by subscribing to this channel. ??. Keep it up bro your the best ❤🔥💥
Mapal, I have a problem with my After Effects rendering, when I render a video, the frames get stuck or paused (like the video is lagging) please can you help😭
If it’s the actual exported render I couldn’t tell ya why. If it’s just the ram preview I’d try to lower the playback resolution, turn off unnecessary layers, and make sure to clear your cache
Mapal I have a small request can you please make a tutorial on the intro youve made for this video using icons and text they look super cool, thanks 🇮🇳 Love from india
Thank you! I probably won't make a full video on it but I do have a breakdown of it on my Patreon. I covered it in one of the livestreams I did for the members.
I don’t remember exactly where I got it. It’s been a while. I do know it took me forever to find. Went through a lot of public domain stuff! Recommending a camera is tough. What are your goals with it/what do you need from it?
That's fair I'll probably find a place a website, my goals or what I need from it is to take very good shots, that I can edit and use for posters or other different creative contents. @@mapal
I can’t remember the exact website I found this one. I have a few sites I use and I’ve talked about them in the “best sites for designers” video on the channel!
I've showed it in a good few videos. Add a solid with the colour 808080 -> Add 'Add Grain' Effect -> Final output + Kodak 800T preset -> size and softness to 1.3 -> Add 'Tint' effect - > Pre-comp and move all attributes to new comp -> blending mode to Overlay
Hi Mapal. Thanks so much for sharing that awesome tutorial. Just curious about the use of 4 nulls to control the camera. Why not just create a camera with just one "orbit null". When I do this, I can easily control P, and X,Y,Z except that I use the null Orientation's third parameter (instead of Z Rotation) to orbit around a POI.
You certainly can! I like splitting it up from an organisational perspective. Gives me a better overview and in some cases can allow for more control. Certainly not necessary in most instances though and your method will be more than sufficient
Thanks Mapal. I find all your tutorials fascinating and it's wonderful of you to be sharing all your knowledge with us regarding AE. Just to add to what others have said, I can definitely say I've learned so much more viewing your AE youtube videos than I ever did on other sites like Skillshare. Thanks again! @@mapal
bro the tut is really nice but I slept and woke ap 6 time while watching the first half cause of the bg song. can you do a little more uplifting energetic songs?
25fps is for Europe. I'm in the US so it makes more sense to use 24fps. It has to do with the Hz of lights. If you were to record actual video in the US using 25fps you'd probably get some weird flickers. Since all the motion graphics I make go in a video it makes the most sense to match the fps of the animations to the video!
Hey @mapal! Can you please tell me why does everybody use that shitty effect called posterize time? It just makes no sense to run a 60fps comp with a posterize time of 12 sec!
I came here for the textures in the final render but you didn't show how you did that. :( I'm guessing it was noise track matte to the composition? because I can't see it in the brighter areas.
It’s a solid set to 808080 with add grain added to it and a tint, which is then pre composed and overlayed. I’ve shown the technique in a good few videos like the 3D text animation one. I’d check that one out for the specifics. Noise is (never should be) never seen in places that are truly white or black. Since there is no colour information in those areas. If you use the overlay blending mode you’ll get that result
@@mapal interesting, I usually use fractal for this kind of texture over 2D animations and add some posterize time and I animate the evolution. Amazing videos btw!
