Your video title is wrong. The brakes were changed starting in year 2012, so this video wouldn't be applicable exactly to the changed style.

Good video, but two recommendations: (1) connect the ends of the upper return spring to each shoe, before mounting them on the backing plate, then pull the shoes apart and engage on the backing plate, especially at the bottom; and (2) place the adjuster lever on the pin on the rear shoe before mounting the shoe on the backing plate (otherwise, the angle makes it very difficult to put the adjusting lever in place).

Excellent. I looked at 4 other videos before and this was the most helpful.

@#$&!! What if the drum will not fit on over the new pads? Adjuster is loosened all the way. I tap the pads to center. The pistons won't go in enough to allow the drum to go on

Now the piston is leaking... Thanks

Does it seem as though in 1:16 he is working on the passenger rear break, but the video of him actually replacing the break seems to be from the other side?

At 1:45 when taking off the rear drum, the shock is to the right of the brakes rather than the left? It seems as though they changed visual points without saying anything?

I have a question, my back break drum doesn't have an access plug to the adjuster lever, so you can see my issue. So any suggestion on how to proceed because I can't get the break drum off my car. It's a 2012 nissan versa with 5 speed transmission. Thank you

Yes--watch a different video meant for that model year. The video title is misleading because they changed in 2012.

Is the same way as 2020 Nissan Versa S?

Those are rear brake shoes. What would be wrong with english and terminology used for 100 years. Nothing. Pads go on disc brakes, shoes go on drum brake applications. You can send me a check for correcting the mistake of a 80,000/year salaried worker. Its all about accountability. /what comes from the mouth or written with pen.

Genuine question, who could it hurt to say pads? It's not like you can accidentally install brake pads in the drums instead of shoes. It's a harmless difference that only serves to signal in-group knowledge and make people feel good about correcting others even though the correction adds no value to the world, because the mistake was completely harmless.
