    The heavier you are the harder it is to climb. So true.

    Have you put the barrage motor in it yet that's what I put in mine and I love it definitely more power same speed but more torque

    question ? I am 6 months in an built a wplc24-1. Now i want a 24th scale. Which one, or Brand would you go for ?

      I like the FMS FCX24m that just came out(four different versions). The scx24 is where its at for all the upgrades and easy parts access with hobby shops. If your keeping it stock them FCX24m. Modding then scx24.

    Ive got an MN99s, been playing with it for a couple of days. Put some wheel weights on all 4 wheels and it did improve the climbing ability. When my SCX24 B17 Betty arrived I was not impressed at all, the suspension was toy like qualityI thought I made a mistake paying that much which I could have just bought 3 MN99s for the price. We were surprised first time trying it out on our crawler course, that thing rips! Even for its smalller size it went thru the same course the mn99s did and felt faster, easier to manuever stock. Planning to add some wheel weights & mod the suspension. That would be it. What glue did you use for putting back the tire to the rims? Noticed the scx24 has glue on the rim and tire. Thanks.

      the stock tires are glued from the factory. I used cr18 wheels and tires as a upgrade because they are beadlocks and it was easy to add BBs in it.

    I have the same wheel and tire combo on my jeep. Hobby Plus makes 24 gram brass internal wheel weights for them. Do you think the BBs weigh as much?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 роки тому

      I could make it weight that much but my wheels and tire with BBs weight is about 28 grams.

    It seems to scrabble for grip less. Do the wheel weights press the tires into the ground therefore giving better grip?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 роки тому +1

      Just more weight overall makes it stick to the ground better. The BBs just float in there so the unsprung weight doesn't stress out the drivetrain when you stop and go. The BBs just slosh around in there it's the lowest place you can put weight and its been working good for me so far.

    Did you put more BB's in front tires, I've heard it works better.

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 роки тому

      I put the same all around but the rig is front biased stock so it stays that way with lower down weight added. I like downhill performance as well as uphill and this works for me.

      @@RunThatRC how many BB’s?? Interested in doing this as well and need a starting reference. And how did they affect the servo?
