Now I want to see some videogame or something that includes post apocalyptic versions of restaurant franchises like the ones at 2:03 2:24 2:48 and 2:59
I heard someone say, the reason AI can't generate hands or words well is because AI trained to generate images does not understand how the actual text works, or how a hand actually works. it knows the overall *look* of hands or text but doesn't understand *why* it looks like that. It understands the aesthetic of it, being trained off of lots and lots of images online that involve text or hands, but can't actually differentiate one word from another in the form of an image- similarly it can't differentiate one hand shape from another hand shape, meaning it has no way of knowing which way to make the fingers go, so it just goes off of a weird amalgamation of a bunch of different images of hands.
i think it's sort of like those fake chinese or japanese tattoos designed by people who don't know those languages. giving you something that looks vaguely similar to chinese characters they've seen before but the tattoo doesn't actually mean anything/only happens to have some meaning by accident, it's really just a bunch of lines.
I think the best way to fix understanding related problems such as those would be to describe the things that the image AI doesn't understand in great detail & have a text AI & an image AI work together. Similar to how a human brain works.
So give every image a very detailed description, & have a text AI convert the simple descriptions that people give of what they want to very detailed descriptions that the image AI will understand.
& when the duo of AIs is told to describe an image, the image AI would give a very detailed description & then the text AI would simplify it, or the very detailed description would be sent directly to the user if requested.
Maybe for performance, the very detailed descriptions that the image AI would use should be in another language made specifically for the image AI, & if the user wants a very detailed description, then the text AI could translate it to the user's language.
Laughing, yeah? What if i say that some guy in Russia can calmly wear "dddda" trousers and speaking to everyone that it's original "adidas"? This guy is me :/
when i was using ai recently, i tried generating "poem, piece of paper" to hopefully get some words the second image had 2 sheets of paper with small scribbles vaguely looking like letters but the papers had titles "Pre Peet" and "of Peace" and the third attempt had "PECT PPECE" as the title
Matt continues to be one of the funniest creators on the youtube platform. I am also amazed at how he manages to find so much funny content seemingly so quickly
Another good one: ask an AI for the covers of novels or albums, or for pages from instruction manuals. It's always *so close* to being words, but never quite there.
I asked an AI to make an '80s fantasy metal album cover. It generated a tall blonde Knight in the foreground with more arms than usual and nonsensical armor standing beneath the words BRIGHAM TRAM in a script similar to Tolkien's Elvish. Stylistically spot on. Linguistically and realistically still light-years away. I love it so much
Not sure why my hands are shaking like that in those last few shots, I assume some sort of nerve stress from trying to pull my own thumb off, but at any rate don't worry I'm not cold or suffering withdrawal or anything 👍

Matt Rose breaking his fingers for us. Truly this man is committed to the bit.
I don't usually comment on videos but I literally honestly could not stop laughing during this entire video. I have tears running down my face, this was brilliant. I can't even pick any favourite parts. Thank you for making my day better, this is a new level of hilarious xD

That's amazing how it actually captured the energy of Australian crossing guards better than real life signs allow. It really is just "nah, you can't cross yet."
AI signlanguage is like the ancient eldritch words... but in signlanguage
I wanted an ai to generate goth poetry, but it just said 'testicle'
What deep emotional meaning could this have...
It's wild how good it is at branding. It can't picture what a word looks like, but it knows how to sell Monster energy drinks.
Mass online data collection was originally largely for advertising purposes.
Data then trains these models.

They’re better now, by the way. Google’s Gemini, at least, gets text correct when I ask it to generate images

"What are two things AI is famously good at currently? Right, hands and words." - The guy who asked for the sign la guage chart, probably
when i was using ai recently, i tried generating "poem, piece of paper" to hopefully get some words
the second image had 2 sheets of paper with small scribbles vaguely looking like letters but the papers had titles
"Pre Peet" and "of Peace"
and the third attempt had "PECT PPECE" as the title

Another good one: ask an AI for the covers of novels or albums, or for pages from instruction manuals. It's always *so close* to being words, but never quite there.
I asked an AI to make an '80s fantasy metal album cover.
It generated a tall blonde Knight in the foreground with more arms than usual and nonsensical armor standing beneath the words BRIGHAM TRAM in a script similar to Tolkien's Elvish.
Stylistically spot on. Linguistically and realistically still light-years away. I love it so much
@@chillcreep4926 Brigham Tram is a great band name, tbh.
