Byrna's trainer's favorite work is "utilize". This drives me crazy. In every video! This drives me crazy. There is never an appropriate time to use that word. Fowler's Modern English claims that the difference in meaning between use and utilize has disappeared, and utilize is now just a long form of use. There's almost never a reason to use utilize. As Mark Twain said: Don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do. Just say use! But...yes really cool products!
