Mobile Game Model to Blender (Tutorial)

- This is totally not something I typically upload and I'll be uploading more normal stuff soon! (sorry lol)
This is a tutorial on how to get models from mobile games (SideM, PangyaMobile, etc) and import them into blender and get the bones to work.
Here are a list of the things you'll need:

You can get the game assets by using a phone emulator (I use NOX) and downloading the game on it, and then moving the game files to your computer. (You'll be looking for a folder in the game folder names Assets or AssetBundles, but you can always just transfer the whole game's folder.) A thing to note is that some games aren't as easy to rip from. (Starlight Stage assets are encrypted, some other games do similar things)
I'm not a pro so maybe there's things that were unnecessary, but all I know is that this method works! This is what I use to get game models into VRchat.
You'll have to make the blend shapes (mouth movement, eye blinking etc) yourself, but it's not too bad since there's bones and everything for the lips/eyes.

Unity Studio doesnt even let me open a folder, it just skips through :( And assetstudio dosent export properly

NayoNyan its ripping models and aligning skeletons. Yes, I know THIS isn't exactly mmd but it is showing us that she's still interested in this media (art?) form.
or maybe she's gonna be doing something else with it? idunno , could be that she might use it for MMD but since the character is from a mobile game it also doesnt seem very likely. perhaps she might use it for things like vrchat or a school project.

Yep!! Well, getting the actual assets is honestly the hardest part. Before I figured out this process it would take me hours trying to figure out what to do. Now that I know the steps its super easy!
well i do know where the models in sidem are stored so maybe i'll try it later

Not sure if I'll get a response at this point in time but: I'm planning of making a game that is for mobile. I want to have 3D models in it and want to find out if it's possible to use blender models for a mobile app.
Since you're using Unity Studio here, is it safe to assume that it only works with games made in Unity?

I'm completely stuck on finding my game assets. I have Msute installed on Nox, but I'm not sure where to get the files to import to Unity.
You need to turn on Root on Nox so that you can move the game files from your emulator to your hard drive. There should be a PC icon in the toolbar which will open up where each file directory is, you need to move the game files from it's normal location to the Shared location for Nox
How are you able to open assetstudio on unity? For some reason I can't get it on it nor am I able to find anything on how to get it on unity \o/
Ah, it's not actually part of Unity. Unity Studio is just something made by a dude, it's just a program you run! (link in description)

for some reason when i exported the model to blender is too small? if you get what i mean ...
hmm like the scale is all messed up? Might be different depending on the game. You could scale it up using the scale values on the right panel (to the left of the panel with all the bones and meshes)
for some reason it didnt do a thing for me? im probably just doing some stupid mistake orz
