I just woke up with tinnitus 2 weeks ago for the first time in my life, and I've been losing my mind. I've been looking and trying everything the internet has to say about this horrible thing and one reddit user (God bless him) left the link to this video which is the only one that allows me to breathe normally. Thank you one million times for doing this. I miss music, though.
If your playback device doesn't support multiple apps outputting at the same time (UA-cam for static sound, another app for music) maybe try two devices and two headphones/earbuds that physically don't get in each other's way? For instance, I have a pair of swimmers headphones that transmit through the bone, and therefore don't block the ear canal, so I can also use ear buds with another device at the same time.
@@lolyolivares3280 Sorry, I didn't see your question until just now. The pair I have is called AS18 X2 (yeah, rolls right off the tongue) but it looks like it's not sold on Amazon any more.
Lifelong tinnitus sufferer but never bother me much until a recent uptick that has caused me to hear it all the time. Was sent here from a tinnitus subreddit and this is great so far! Glad to see so much support from so many people that suffer with this.
This is the only video that has helped my tinnitus. Ive searched several videos and this one tops them all. I am 41 and Ive had tinnitus off and on for a few yrs, but this year its been more noticeable and only in the left ear. It got to a point where I couldnt sleep because of the constant ringing. After 2 weeks of listening to this with my air pods at night and I stopped drinking coffee It has tremendously helped the ringing to be much lower. Its still there but I hardly notice it. I slept for a whole week without needing to listen to the video now and I feel much rested. I dont wake up in the middle of the night as often as I use to. Ty for creating this video for us tinnitus sufferers. Listening to this video while I write this. Dont give up folks if yr reading this. Ive been eating much healthier which has helped with the process and cutting coffee out of my life definitely has been hard, but I believe it helped with my tinnitus as well. Tysm Dale for all the great work that you do! God bless you.
I’m interested in the quitting coffee thing. I drink coffee in the morning 5 out of 7 days a week. (If I quit altogether I’ll get a migraine.) How has giving up coffee affected your tinnitus?
I developed tinnitus in early 2017. If it weren't for masking videos like this, I never would have gotten through those first two years. Stuff like this allows me to sleep normally again, and has actually trained me to sleep even without masking noises when the tinnitus is mild. Thanks Dale.
I began to experience Tinnitus around early 2020 & I felt unsure & scared how to deal with it. The doctor was as useful as a trapdoor in a cannue & no one understood what I was experiencing. Then I found sound therapy & it was relief & became my best friend - especially at night when sleeping. I've kind of got used to my Tinnitus now. Some days it can flare up & it's now in my right ear, but the difference is I am battle hardened to deal with it. I hope your living & coping ok with your Tinnitus. Many thanks. Gavin.

I will see if it maintains and I will keep using it.

Sorry to disappoint, no I didn't use it long term, and unfortunately my tinnitus is still very bad. I can't really sleep woth it like that, I'd like to try again but I'll have to do something different. I stopped partially because I was lazy, but it also didn't seem to work in some subsequent uses.

I’ve had off and on tinnitus for the last couple years - I think it’s related to my terrible sleep patterns and insomnia. This year has been a lot worse and more common. For the last 4 nights, I’ve been unable to fall asleep until maybe 3-5 am due to late night anxiety and letting myself get lost in my ipad screen. The high pitched ringing in both ears has been extra terrible and this video was really nice relief. I hope to listen to a little bit of it for as many days as I can until I train myself to ignore it and get some rest. I tried listening to calming sleep music or soft talking last night but nothing worked and for some reason, my half-asleep anxiety convinced me that the low music was making my dreams into bad ones or that it was brainwashing me. Obviously I have issues and tinnitus is just a symptom 😅 Glad to know this exists! Thank you for creating it!
You should try a carnivore diet. Only meat and butter. Sounds crazy but my severe tinnitus has went down 85% after having it so loud for 10 years. I’ve been doing carnivore diet for 3 years now and after the first 3 days you can tell drastically

I've been dealing with it for nearly 20 years now. Didn't do anything to try and protect my hearing until my mid-20s, damage was well done by then. I'm just now finding these videos and they're absolutely amazing.
Not going to lie- I tried listening to the 13kHz. After 30 minutes, my tinnitus was extremely aggravated. After about 10 minutes of this... I was still feeling it. Then I took the headphones off... and the tinnitus was quieter. Not gone, but less pervasive. I hope this trend continues.
I've had tinnitus since I was 14 and stood too close to speakers at a concert. It's always been this distant ringing in my right ear, but never anything unbearable. Skip to last year November, when I caught covid, and OMG THE TINNITUS BECAME TORTURE. I woke up one night about to scream because the tinnitus was raking through my brain at his unbearable high-pitched frequency. It was hell. Absolute hell. My nerves haven't recovered. Doesn't help I'm autistic and that, because of that, i'm waaaayyy more sensitive to stress and neurological conditions (and high-pitched noises!). But omg it's getting to a point that I want to scream and can't focus on writing because the noise is *everywhere* in my head. Welp. This bg noise + my usual music? It's created a strange amalgam that actually works. The bg noise covers the tinnitus almost perfectly, while the music keeps my creative brain happy. Really hoping I can somehow retrain my brain to stop hearing the tinnitus... Thank you for these. Right now, it's pretty much a life saver.
Thank you so much for these sounds. I have recently developed tinnitus and several of your sounds are helping, especially the Calmer Sweeping noise at 7kHz and the Descender cascading.
Dale, you have brought peace into my life with your awesome videos! I had an adrenalectomy for pheochromocytoma several months ago and once I started taking an alpha blocker, I now have pulsatile tinnitus. These videos make everything better, Thank you!!
I developed tinnitus and hyperacusis 2 weeks ago. Today is the 14th day. I'm only 21 years old. This video made me cry for 20 minutes straight. It's the first time in 2 weeks when I don't hear my tinnitus. I was so stupid. I have been listening to the music in my earbuds with a very high volume. I understand it will never go away and this is my harsh life lesson but I just want to say thank you. This video is very helpful to us!
I hope it does get better for you. Most of us have been reckless with our hearing at one time or another. It is great you have become aware at this time. Some people carry on for many years with loud volume until the nuance and beauty of sound has gone away.
you'll be okay. I was young when I developed tinnitus too but it stopped bothering me for 10+ years once I got used to it, it fades to the background, trust me you will be okay.
@@CnCProductions1 Unfortunately nothing has changed :c I lost all my hope for recovery and now I am trying to habituate to this new reality, which is a very slow and hard job to do. I am also waiting for Auricle device release somewhere in 2025-2026. I will start saving money for it this year.
Well, I've accepted the new reality and I feel slightly better than 5 months ago. Mentally I'm more strong now, physically nothing has changed unfortunately
I just wanted to say that I’m not sure when my tinnitus started as I developed it pretty young I think but I’m almost 20 now and this video has really helped me
My Tinnitus is primarily in my left ear, but it's this high pitch constant, it drives me utterly insane, this video however masks it so well I can sleep, thank you
This is awesome .... It has only been a few minutes, but it's close to mine, just not a ringing, but it has brought a smile to my face... Thank you for all your hard work Its easy to match to my tinitus... sound level Thank you so much
Wow! I only listened to it for a couple of minutes and it reduced the intensity of my tinnitus significantly for half an hour or so. Thought this wouldn't work at all!
Back when I had one, a guitar flanger effect used to work very well at in effect strangling the noise to keep it from strengthening. It was effective against ghost voices especially.
I will give this a try! Love all your work Dale. Not sure why sometimes when my tinnitus gets spiked I get an "sad emotion" attached to the tinnitus. Makes me want to cry or feel very sad? Anyone else?
I listened to this one for the first time 3 days ago and wow….this is just what I needed right now. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the work that you do to help the tinnitus community🙏 🙏. I have one request, would it be possible to post a version of this video where the screen fades to black after a few minutes (like you do with many of your other videos). It would really help when using it to sleep. Thanks
Thank you. Today my tittinus was going crazy wouldn’t stop. Some days it’s better than others. This video really helped. I try to let bother me , but when it just won’t stop it drives me insane. So thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.
Muito obrigada por tanta gentileza. Seu trabalho é maravilhoso e o que você faz é a tradução verdadeira de amor ao próximo. Que o doce mestre Jesus lhe abençoe sempre. Com carinho, Ana do Brasil.
Holy shit this works!!! Of course it’s still noise but to me it’s much softer of a noise and not as “FREQUENCCCCCCCCCCCYY” I swear mine has gotten worse over the past few weeks and I’m going CRAZY. Honestly I’m slapping my head and my ear save flicking my ear and plugging my ear omg I’m literally going fking insane. But this… this is nice.
this is trully fantastic! I wonder if you would have a "descent" video like this but shorter (e..g. 10 to 30min). That would be perfect for sound therapy purposes, specially for hyperacusis. Many thabks!
There is a 1 hour download length in the description. Starting the video at 9:30:00 would provide the 30 minute length. You might also like this downward shifting noise for your purposes: ua-cam.com/video/IINQ6iZXmjw/v-deo.html
Most of the videos go dim around the 90 minute mark. (this video down not dim as much as more recent content). It’s true, some channels make lots of black screen, but UA-cam is a video streaming platform. There are ways to darken screens on most devices including, phones tablets, computers and smart TVs.
Keep at it! Try to have the volume just below the level of your Tinnitus. This will help you habituate. I find if I focus too much on the sound of my Tinnitus it's more loud & intense. I now have learned to ignore it & some days I don't even acknowledge that it's there. Stress, bad diet & lack of exercise, I believe exacerbate the condition. Fasting may also help. Good luck 🤞. Gavin

This is a close match to mine. It helps me relax. My head sometimes feeling like a racetrack that's going to explode. Im seeing a neurologist soon for his opinion pn my MRI wich shows Superior artery in contact with right tringeminal nerve and chronic small vessel ischaemia. Also, there is a 1 anterial loop in contact with vestibulocochlear nerve. God I hope it can be remedied by surgery.
My tinnitus has been bonkers, varying radically in response to all sorts of weird things. It’s been enough to make me feel like climbing the walls, literally in one case. It’s far too easy to focus on it and end up in some kind of feedback loop. I hope I can find a way to keep it from impacting my life.
This is great. Dale, I'm curious. Can you make one that's high-frequency, descending, cascading, but pure tones? Like 3-4 descending pure tones simultaneously.
Thank you to anyone trying to help with this problem. Let us Always point to the causes of this problem. For the Majority of people it’s EXPOSURE to loud Noises Concerts, Clubs, Fireworks my whole Baby Boomer generation will have ear problems Let’s us not forget the combat soldiers and their exposure to ear splitting noise. Except in rare cases there is no cure for tinnitus once you have it: All these people writing in please mention how you got tinnitus please.
The appearance of endless ascending or descending tone was explored a long time ago by J.S. Bach, using musical phrases instead of synthetic waveforms. Maybe that's where Shepard got the idea?
I bet that is possible. Need to research Bach's works on that. There is a known audio producing phenomenon that a descending music note, such as a bass guitar slide or drop will be extended by the mind to the bottom of the listening range

It did get to me, I have depression after 31 years of tinnitus. Everything is negative, can't stand anybody anymore. I hate living with this torture.
I can't believe how much this helped. Even if it was just for one day I'm grateful. Thank you.
A great relaxing masking sound. Thanks Dale.
I use Pink Floyd
I don't know if you know it or not.. But clearly you are doing God's work here Dale..thanks a billion!
Thanks you for making this! 😊
Thanks so much Veero :)
Thank you so much for these sounds. I have recently developed tinnitus and several of your sounds are helping, especially the Calmer Sweeping noise at 7kHz and the Descender cascading.
You're very welcome Jackie
exactly the same videos that work for me, rest dont, makes me wonder why.
This matches my tinnitus. I think it’s helping me get used to it. If that continues I will get the creator of this something very nice.
Dale, you have brought peace into my life with your awesome videos! I had an adrenalectomy for pheochromocytoma several months ago and once I started taking an alpha blocker, I now have pulsatile tinnitus. These videos make everything better, Thank you!!
Be well and thanks for listening Bob
This works great for me! Thank you.
I know it's not a cure but thank you for caring enough to share it does give relief if not a cure 😭
How are you doing now?
@@CnCProductions1 Unfortunately nothing has changed :c I lost all my hope for recovery and now I am trying to habituate to this new reality, which is a very slow and hard job to do. I am also waiting for Auricle device release somewhere in 2025-2026. I will start saving money for it this year.
Well, I've accepted the new reality and I feel slightly better than 5 months ago. Mentally I'm more strong now, physically nothing has changed unfortunately
THANK YOU THIS SOUND REALLY HELPS ME A LOT IS ONE OF MY TINNITUS SOUND LIBRARIES ACTUALLY # 1 ON THE LIST KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB👏🪒👂😀
Thank you again, love your noises, I will sleep good tonight!
I love this...bless you and thank you so much...you're a wonderful man!!!
Works great, helps get a good nights rest ☝🏽
I just wanted to say that I’m not sure when my tinnitus started as I developed it pretty young I think but I’m almost 20 now and this video has really helped me
Love you, Dale! Thanks for each and every one of these you make!! You’ve helped me do much!!
Wonderful to hear comments like yours from the community. Thanks for listening.
Dale you are a blessing bro , an angel
I appreciate all the listeners to no end. 🎧
Thanks!
Thanks for the Super Thanks MJ. Very appreciated.
1:50 am Thank-you for Tinnitus Descender Cascading Sweeping Noise. It is my favorite source of relief.
My Tinnitus is primarily in my left ear, but it's this high pitch constant, it drives me utterly insane, this video however masks it so well I can sleep, thank you
Best one so far for me 🎉
Thank you very much you save my life
Gracias! Realmente es de mucha ayuda. Bendiciones!!
This is awesome ....
It has only been a few minutes, but it's close to mine, just not a ringing, but it has brought a smile to my face...
Thank you for all your hard work
Its easy to match to my tinitus... sound level
Thank you so much
This and your soothers are awesome work. Thank you
Wow! I only listened to it for a couple of minutes and it reduced the intensity of my tinnitus significantly for half an hour or so. Thought this wouldn't work at all!
It only works to reduce certain types of tinnitus. Glad it is helping so many listeners.
Back when I had one, a guitar flanger effect used to work very well at in effect strangling the noise to keep it from strengthening. It was effective against ghost voices especially.
Did yours just go away?
I will give this a try! Love all your work Dale. Not sure why sometimes when my tinnitus gets spiked I get an "sad emotion" attached to the tinnitus. Makes me want to cry or feel very sad? Anyone else?
Your feelings affect your tinnitus symptoms. I just found this video helpful. I hope you agree.

Yes, majorly depressed
Thank you sir! Got Tinnitus since 8 years now From headphone. This Sounds relax me.
Wow I can sleep, thank you so very much🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for listening Pethra
Show! Congratulations!
Great video, delivering the goods as usual.
Thank you so much!!! Can not thankyou enough for the relief.
Your production quality is astounding
Thank you Joshua.
This is great. It works on me at a nice low level that won’t bother other people.
This is my go sound for when my T flairs up. Thank you for making these. I'd be in trouble otherwise
Wow! My tinnitus got like 75% better immediately! Wild!
Thanks
You can throw a dark towel or blanket over the screen. That creates darkness.
This ist the BEST ever !! 🤗🙏💚
Great to hear. :)
The best yet for me thank you Dalesnale
Thanks Peter
This is masks my tinnitus amazingly. Thank you so much for this video ❤
Thank you. Today my tittinus was going crazy wouldn’t stop. Some days it’s better than others. This video really helped. I try to let bother me , but when it just won’t stop it drives me insane. So thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.
You are so welcome
Thanks for this amazing blessing
Ok this works. It feel nice in my ears and head.
Thank you very much! This sound is amazing! No tinnitus noise while listening! One favor to ask, can you make a black screen for night time?? Thanks!
Most of the videos go dim around the 90 minute mark. (this video down not dim as much as more recent content). It’s true, some channels make lots of black screen, but UA-cam is a video streaming platform. There are ways to darken screens on most devices including, phones tablets, computers and smart TVs.
Listening to this for a bit actually turned down my tinnitus for a bit but it eventually got back to it's usual volume.
Gavin
Esse som é perfeito para o meu caso, mais preciso de ajuda.
Gostatia de saber:
- quantas vezes ao dia eu posso escutar esse som?
- qual o volume ideal?
- posso escutar vendo televisão?
- utilizando como terapia diária, como devo proceder? Escutar 1 vez ao dia por quanto tempo?
Agradeço imensamente a gentileza e ajuda de vocês.
Abraço fraterno, Ana do Brasil.💗
Hope u r with Bolsonaro :)
Best iv used yet thank u,Im really struggling to cope to be honest it’s never been as bad as this
Duuude. This feels so good. Thank you.
Great to hear, thanks for listening.
Thank you very much for your work and help to reduce this annoyance. I wanted to know when and how should I listen to these sounds? From Venezuela.
I'm literally 19 and I have tinnitus, I'm fucked for life lol, It's so bad it causes my head physical pain and my teeth clench, thanks for the video it's helped for tonight 👍🏽
Esaudiente perfetto
This one actually does mask my tinnitus. Too bad I can't listen to this 24/7.
That would be too much :) A little bit each day often reduces tinnitus over time.
Thank you!
You're welcome jackie
Parabéns pelo trabalho!🤝 Não consigo dormir sem ouvir alguns de seus vídeos. Precisamos compartilhar com outras pessoas que está passando por isso também. O meu foi sequelas da covid-19. 😢
Obrigada! ❤ 🇧🇷
Muito bom ouvir. Obrigado por continuar ouvindo
Gracias
De Nada :)
This is great. Dale, I'm curious. Can you make one that's high-frequency, descending, cascading, but pure tones? Like 3-4 descending pure tones simultaneously.
That sounds like a good idea, Thanks for the suggestion.
The sweep appears to be really subtle which is nice. How long is each 'sweep?'
Its getting equeal not bad at all I must say with my tinnitus I hope it don't switch to much anymore
Stay with us here, Rens, a short sound shower a day, keeps the tinnitus away :)
@@villebooks yeah I know its a therapy I repeat whenever it get really annoying that make me wanna kill or smash or whatever you know what I mean. But luckely we have Dale and wel that ease my anger all so. 😁
