I did watch the video plus it was a nice video explaining the Agaddon Hunters and the Doom Hunters were the same species and that the hell priests had moved into the burial site of the hunters and transformed them into the stoppable force known as the Doom Hunters 😐🗿
The Doom Hunter in the 2016 version might be totally screwed up by Slayer's powerful attack at the time. So the hunter had to combine with the machine tank to regenerate. Although he challenged one more time, he became an iron trash in the end.
The only thing that concern me is the pace of game... I mean sure, we played doom eternal a lot and sure we love how quickly we can swap guns and target one demon to the next, but the speed at which we engage demons in doom eternal is very very fast.... I dont know if i ever want this speed to go slow in the next Doom game... I know new Doom should have its own mechanics, new tactics, new guns, new demons and what not... But doom eternal is simply Perfect... I cant wait to see how devs actually match upto it in the next doom game... I am hyped and I respect everyone in Id software, every engineer to designer to planner to hugo martin himself... amazing amazing work and awesome game like doom eternal never lets me get bored and always keep me engaged even after so many years of purchasing it.... I hope devs will not work under pressure to make new Doom game just as perfect and amazing as Doom Eternal.. Let next game have its own uniqueness like it though.... :)
The game doesn’t have to look fast, but if it requires the player to do a lot of actions per second, which it probably will, it should still feel very engaging.
Its going to be even faster. Its going back to the roots. Play classic Doom and Doom 2 on nightmare to get an idea. You could dodge between imp fireballs coming at you. You'll be able to do the same in TDE. There's parts of the trailer where its clearly visible.
Who noticed the flail before the demon? On first and second watch I didn't even realize their was a flail, not until I watched a break down, I saw the demon live on a stream where whoever I was watching called it a baron. I immediately thought that can't be a baron, looked back at the details, horns, horn placement, shoulder spikes, rib design, waist, arm length, and eye placement. I then was like, that looks kinda like a doom hunter, looked back at the doom hunter and the skull of a doom hunter in the slayer's workshop and figured it was a doom hunter. The next day, I saw people also coming to that conclusion and I believe hugo confirmed it to so this is late.

It's not an aggadon hunter as they have 4 arms which you can see in game it's the demon you have to knock down in order to climb to the next part of the level
One small correction on timeline. It goes doom 1, 2, 64, TDA, 2016 and eternal. Doom 3 also goes in there somewhere, but the slayer isn’t in that game at all.

In Doom 3 its him from a different dimension. He has been alive for eons. I think it was Hugo or someone at id that said all wads are cannon too. Because he has been fighting demons relentlessly. Not just in our dimension but countless others.

Don't worry - I know my DOOM I was just keeping it safe as many players don't recognise DOOM 64 as canon and technically - it all takes place after DOOM 2 😝 More videos on this coming though.

Yeah we checked, and for every person who says YES there's another who states with equal and absolute certainty that 64 is NOT canon. Not our job to decide, so we just left it open. Maybe a future video?

Eventually only one managed to kill the Icon of Sin while the other killed the Mother of Demons. Yes Doom 64 is canon. Doom 3 is not canon because of the misdirected story. Also Doom 3 is just a bad reboot of Doom 1&2 in one game. Also Doom 2016 is actually the reboot of Doom 1. Doom eternal takes place after Doom 64. 🗿
It’s complicated! After the events of the original Doom games (we skip Doom 3) he’s pulled through a portal to Argent D’Nur, fights through Doom Eternal’s backstory (The Dark Ages) and is eventually sealed away in a coffin until Olivia Pierce digs him up in Doom 2016! Simple!
