    Hi Jordy...
    Getting everything ready for sales I see... they look marvelous..I cant say which is my favorite.. they all have something to compete with the next...the grain in the lighthouse..the pale smooth wood surrounding the owl...your flowers on the green man..and so on... love them all...
    Your coat shelf turned out great...the mountains really set it off...
    One day when I'm young again (lol)..i want to be like Jordy...
    Have an awesome weekend...🌿🌿🌿

    I love this video. All the pieces look awesome with the clear coat.. helpful tips such as spraying your finish on light or heavy in areas of your piece, like the glassy top of the light house. Thanks for sharing. Be well.

    Cracking job Jordy.. put some plasticine or playdough in rim of the can . Shape a spout, making sure its wide enough in the rim for the pour.. remove and hey presto a clean dry tin rim.. 👍🇬🇧🙋🏼‍♂️

    Great video Jordy. I bought a spray bottle, I've been brushing it on. And last night in your video did you say helmsman is 100 plus dollars a can? I'll stop whining about paying 50 a can here in Wisconsin. Great video learned a few things. Oh and it's Shmike for short lol

      You know Jordy sometimes I think you spend way to much cash on your craft like the spar varnish shit man 120 bucks, so last night I looked at what I use Sadolin yatch or outdoor varnish and that's like 70 British pounds for 2.5 Litres, so if you convert that to Canadian dollars it's about 120 bucks so no dif really, I forget about the exchange rate and think dollars are pounds when watching the vids, you know? Anyways can't wait for the third coat on the lighthouse looks awesome already and like I said yesterday the greenman is a totally different piece now that you sprayed it, sort of come to life more depth and character.
      Thanks for the inspiration and the entertainment, carry on and don't shut your pants. Steveo South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Hey bud. I appreciate your videos keep making em! I have a question that may be kinda tricky and I’m sure if I asked 5 people I’d get 5 different answers. But in your experience do you wait for the wood to dry a bit before putting a sealer like urethane or poly on them? Cheers!

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  4 місяці тому

      Yes 100% the more u let it dry the better the sealer will work
